So far they worked. They work so well that a neighborhood cat tried to snatch a rat that was caught in the sticky trap and ended up getting one stuck to its foot and setting off a snap trap near it. The cat was okay though. I would upload pictures but i dispatch the rats since they are still alive and it leaves a bloody mess. These traps are super sticky and they catch large roof rats. Probably any rat honestly they are large and super sticky. If you want to dispatch the rat without shooting it with a pellet rifle like i do, just put the sticky trap in water so the rat drowns. But i prefer a quicker and more human way with a pellet right behind the head then i sprinkle setting compound on top to soak up the blood and help with leakage. (Also one important tip!!) When you take the traps out the box, they are closed off together so they dont stick to anything. Leave them like that with some peanut but and place where the rats are for a couple days so the rats get comfortable then after a couple days , flip the traps over so the sticky part is visible and ready for trapping. Make sure to use gloves when handling rat traps as they carry nasty diseases and could be harmful to humans.

Ill be setting the traps tonight. Theyre very sticky, I could barely get my finger off after testing the stickiness. The peanut butter smell smells like real peanut butter to me. I have no doubt these will do the trick. Ive used tomcat sticky traps in the past but these look to be a better deal with same quality. Ill be buying more when I run out.

I tried everything. Snap Traps with bait, used gloves to make sure no human scent. The bucket trap, tunnel traps.. bait made specifically for rodents, peanut butter, dog food.. everything.. nothing worked. I set up a camera and the rat woild walk by it and laugh at me.. i think it even flipped me off a couple times. Finally I decided to try these sticky traps. I went with this brand because of how many it came with for the price. Others were not as good a value that had higher sales, but I figured Id risk it. These all look similar. I setup not even half of them, I wore latex gloves when doing so. They are essentially 2 traps stuck together with perforated plastic in the middle of them, can be a little difficult separating them. But after doing it ancouple times I got the hang of it. Just dont touch the sticky stuff.. which can be difficult. There are no covers for the sticky part you take off or peel off.. just the 2 traps together covering the sticky part then when seperated its revealed. So be careful. First night I set these out I caught the rodent... Seems he bypassed the ones near where I saw him always coming from. But got stuck on a couple traps I had setup elsewhere... So was good I put more out than I thought I needed. He was a big one, and was struggling to get off the trap.. I believe from looking at my camera I found him withing 5-10 minutes of him getting caught. I dont think he would have freed himself... Seems his legs were really stuck. But I suppose it is possible. If he was a small mouse definitely no way. But one thing to note as well, these traps dont need bait added to them.. the sticky stuff is the bait.. has an attractant in it.. and it smells like peanut butter. My entire garage stinks of cheap peanut butter.. the smell is fairly strong. But I think the smell lessened quite a bit overnight. Big thumbs up on these, great value, and they worked! I still have about half the traps stored away not used if I ever need them.. wish Id of went with this first instead of all the other things I bought.

Great product, highly recommended. Only concern is the little wrens and lizards don't stand a chance, sad! But have caught my share of mice, okay and a rat or two.

The Mouse Traps are durable and large enough to capture at least two to three mice, and I was able to catch two at once. The black appearance allows it to camouflage in dark areas of your home, so it makes it effective underneath appliances, wheeled cabinets and under furniture. It has ease of use with simple sliding into dark corners, and yes, you will hear them once they are caught. Put some plastic gloves and dispose of the traps. Peanut butter, nuts and chocolate will make the traps more effective.

This worked perfectly. I’ve caught three mice in it. I also use Decon bait pellets so that they can eat it and just die. But these were great because it caught them and I just had to keep throwing out the trap and I put another one on there. The only negative is it was next to the kitchen table and things would fall off the table onto it and then get really stuck and that’s annoying and then I had to throw it out. So make sure it’s like in a corner and it’s not anywhere near a shelf or something that can fall on it. Also, I have a cat so I had to put it in places where the cat doesn’t normally go or explore. So like under a cabinet or in a corner, but I had to like block off that corner so the cat couldn’t get in there

These work so great and fast! You just pull the two thin plastic plates apart (maybe I’ll try scissors next time as when you pull on the plastic perforated part it sometimes cuts into the glue part), you lay it out and wham bam next morning 3 rats stuck. Couldn’t be easier. One was able to escape, dragged the board down a set of stairs to the grass, but he left his tail behind :( it’s rough to see them struggle on these things but they work amazingly. Note that the rats here are not as big as the New York or downtown rats, but anything medium sized stuck in the center doesn’t stand a chance. They smell funky, like a cheap birthday cake or something, but I guess that’s what the rats like. I’m ordering a larger pack since I think we unfortunately have some more rat friends sticking around.

So I’ve put the sticky trap out last night. We think it’s a vole or something of that sort but honestly, these traps do not work. I am so disappointed as you can see in the picture. He walked all over it and left turds on it and didn’t get caught. I’ve tried two other types of traps from Amazon and nothing is working.

It is so strong that I haven't seen a single mouse that could escape the trap by rolling around. In fact, even I had a problem taking dead mice off with a pair of long nose pliers. Even when it is covered by dust and dirt it still did work very well. The adhesive layer of the sticky trap is so thick that even if dust or dirt accumulates on top, when a mouse steps on it, the adhesive sinks in softly and the glue beneath the dust grabs hold of the mouse. You can reuse the trap after taking dead mice off, but I'd recommend just folding it over and throwing it away.

I had my doubts for a while after catching only moths and bugs for months… but finally got my first mouse!!! A big bugger. They work!

Item works… but a cruel way to catch mice as they die slowly! :-(

10/10 have repurchased many for our farm these work so well.

They WREAK of stale cigarettes. But do work okay
