I bought these to keep hair from tangling in my wheels. I'm a bit on the heavy side and they glide around with ease. They're comfortable and easy to clean.

I bought 5 sets for 5 Steelcase Leap V1 chairs I was getting for cheap.These wheels were easy to install, took like 1 second per wheel. It took way longer to pull the wheels off the chairs with a claw hammer and some pliers so it was nice that these just popped right in with no tools, just my hands.These wheels are silent and working nicely over hard wood and tile floors. I have no carpet but I imagine office style or low carpet would be no issue.Best price for these kind of wheels I could find so went with it, glad I did. These would also work on a Steelcase Leap V2 chair I have but I already had similar wheels on it so didn't need a set. If the current gel roller wheels wear out I'll be these to replace the exiting ones.

My daughter bought these for her computer chair but when the rest of the family tried out the chair, we bought them to replace every rolling chair in the house! They are SO QUIET that I can roll around my childcare room when the kids are asleep making no noise at all! I wish I'd had these years ago -- I ruined one area of my hardwood floors with the old-fashioned rollers.

On a hard floor they work really well, on carpet they are lacking big time. The wheels tend to lock up one direction and when you turn and need them to turn as well (like going quickly from side to side) they jerk back into place. One of my wheels broke at the barrings and sent little metal balls all over my carpet that also had black grease on them. I had them on 2 chairs and took them off and switched back to the wheels that came with the chairs.If you are on hard floor they are ok, on carpet......absolutely not.I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning them so I now have them packed away in my closet, maybe i will use them at some point, but I don't see it happening.EDIT: The manufacturer contacted me and sent a new set of wheels to try that have apparently been redesigned to better handle the issues that I had with the 2 previous sets. The new wheels worked significantly better. The wheels have not exploded on carpet, so that is a positive so far. I added a few stars for them taking initiative to contact me and fix their product. Rare to see a company go out of their way like that anymore.

Got these because my mother-in-love mentioned that she can hear every time her son and I move our desk chairs, like distant thunder (because the floor under the bedrooms isn't insulated and the floors are Pergo, so there's nothing to dampen the sound). Changing out the original casters to these has cut the volume from my chair to mostly inaudible from their room, which is great because I'm the extreme night owl of the bunch. Better sleep for everyone else makes for a little less stress.I'd change out the other 3 chairs' casters if I could, but I don't think either of his folks would allow theirs to be changed. There's definitely a second purchase coming for my partner's chair, though--it's loud when I'm fighting a migraine. ;)

Not as easy to use on carpet

Easy install. Made my old crapy rolling office chair a gliding machine.

So I bought these because I'm highly sensitive to everything..... noise, light, smells....... and loud unnecessary noises especially bother me........ so my rolling chair was driving me crazy.......After I ordered these, I'll admit I felt silly....... like "Really?... did you really need to make your chair more quiet?".... but as soon as I sat in the chair and moved..... I heard nothing 😍......So these are a winner 🏆BUT........🚨 I will warn you.......I was at my desk and stood up to reach for something in front of me, and when I went to sit back down, the chair was gone and I ended up on the floor!lol.... it had rolled backwards and I didn't hear it or realize I had accidentally pushed it away with my legs when I stood up.......So just be careful!.......Other than that though......... these are outstanding 👌🏼
