A Little Course in Knitting: Simply Everything You Need to Succeed

If you are a beginner this is the book for you. It's helped me heaps.Lots of stitches to learn which is what I wanted it for.Explained all about wool and accessories, loads and loads of information.I use the abbreviation page a lot, as I'm still learning.It's small but perfect.I also have the crochet book. That's brilliant too.

Great value and in excellent condition

This is good for a beginner, but the diagrams of stitches and processes are not perfect- they have chosen to use extremely light coloured wool on a white background for lots, making it hard to see well. Some diagrams have a much better contrast between the background and stitches and are much easier to see accurately. Shame they didn't do them all this way.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced knitter, this book will be a great reference tool. I bought it for my knit and natter group. The suppliers were speedy and provided an excellent service.

This is a lovely book to help you with all the knitting terms, stitches etc. and how to produce different designs. It really helped my daughter to increase her knitting proficiency.

I never learnt to knit as a kid, my Mum gave up after several fruitless attempts. So now after all these years + the cost of everything going up so much, I thought it's about time I gave it a go. And this book looks simply brilliant. There are close-ups of every step you need to master, and everything is shown in clear and bright pictures. It takes you in graded steps through different levels of experience, and after each stage you can get to try out the new techniques on real-life projects. Some are a bit silly, like the woolly monkey toy, but hey I'll hand that into the local food bank for kids to play with. Others are really useful, like the raglan jumper and the leg warmers. This book provides a complete course + now can't wait to get started. Mum would be so proud...

This book contains great photographs and very clear instructions on how to start knitting. The progression through skill levels is clear. Most helpful.

It is a good book which contains step by step notes and photos, to enhance better understanding.Even beginners can start knitting with this book..details about how to begin with the cast on techniques and various stitches are dealt with much clarity in this book. Also many knitting patterns are provided and for beginners the abbreviation chart is provided for better understanding of the pattern charts.I am attaching a photo of the content page to provide a better understanding of the books contents..

This is an all round nifty little book for beginning and somewhat experienced knitters. The illustrated instructions are easy to follow. The section with the stitch patterns is very helpful in getting new ideas for knitting projects. I have other knitting books, but I usually reach for this one.

It's like a dictionary for knitters. I really like it.
