Great holster, great price!
I am not a review writer, so bear with me. I am not against paying a decent amount for a nice holster for my more expensive firearms, but I picked up this Taurus 856 at a going out of business sale...so sub $300 (actually much sub 300!!! lol)...I have hand made holsters that were more expensive than this 856! I wanted a decent holster, once again, but at a good price. I half heartedly searched a few of my custom joints, but then for the heck of it, searched Amazon. I found this guy and after going through the reviews decided that for the cost, even if it sucked it would not kill me. I was pleasantly surprised. The leather is good, the stitching is good, and the belt clip is secure. The adjustable strap is a nice idea so that it sort of is a one size fits all. No complaints at all. I have seen much worse holsters at two and three times the cost. For not a ton of cash, you can have a decent, leather, OWB holster and not have to justify the crazy prices for custom leather holsters!

The holster works as intended - great for open carry!
Good fit for my Taurus .38 Special +P 6-round. The reasons I purchased this holster: It is leather. It is outside -the-waistband clip-on (open carry). It has a snap-on/off retention strap. I use this for carry while hiking and archery hunting since no need for super-fast draw in these situations but do have a need for the pistol to stay in the holster while being active. The design, functionality, and ease of use is exactly what I was looking for.

Great holster
Excellent. Fits my S&W 38 like a glove. Great price and excellent quality. The belt clip is also very secure, would be difficult for someone to pull off unexpectedly. Can’t say enough about this holster.
