Got this light up, 5ft fake palm tree for our renovated basement to add to the corner where we'd also hung lights around a beach scene wall hanging. The leaves are adjustable and the remote has several settings to include controlling brightness level. It's a nice little palm tree and adds good ambiance to our space which includes an office, storage area, sewing nook for my daughter and our home theater. If you're not fortunate enough to live near the beach, creating a little 'oasis' is the next best thing.Well, not really. But we had to try. ;-)

OK I’m ready for the Corona beer company to show up with the filming crew to do a TV commercial!Seems to be pretty good quality the connections between the tree itself were of nice quality and the connector seem to be good quality as well.The plate on the bottom is heavy duty and allowed me to screw it into the wood on our deck which will keep it from falling over in High-winds.It is fairly bright, and the remote control provides a lot of options for flashing different levels of brightness and the timer.It took me about 10 minutes to put it together and another 10 minutes to install it On my deck.The only concern I have is the power cable that runs to the tiny AC plug or adapter is super thin and appears to be fragile. I actually ran this underneath the rubber tile on our deck to protect it but if it’s not covered with some type of protective cover it would definitely concern me because it is very thin or fragile.Only time will tell, to see how well it holds up out in the elements since we live in the Midwest we will have rain, freezing rain, and snow.But so far, so good - it looks great just like a Corona beer commercial!

We ordered this lighted palm tree to replace one that we’d had for 9 years. It was easy to assemble using the instructions provided. Perfect size for our front porch, and matched the dimensions given in the product description. It comes with a remote that can be used to change motion, blinking, etc., abs has a timer.I am not sure how to get the remote to work with the tree, but I’m sure it will be easy. I am surprised that the instructors say the ringer will be on for 6 hours and of for 18, with the timer setting.All in all, I would recommend this product for being exactly what the description says, abs it looks good.

I bought a new house recently. Yay me! However, the old owners have decided to paint the bathroom a bright teal color on two walls. I decided to turn their decorating taste, which may have not been my own, into my advantage. I have created an oasis atmosphere in my bathroom. Lol this is where the buying of this palm tree comes into play. As you can see from the pictures, the item itself is pretty sturdy and offers color and ambience. Only thing about this item I dislike, is that the lights on the green part of the tree, only light up in Green. Of course clear color would have been highly preferable to me. I wish the manufacturer would have given an option for clear lights on that part of the tree. I just took the clear lights that they suggested to go down the trunk of the tree and put them up in the top of the tree to even out the bright green lights. That being said, they do give you a remote that comes with it that allows for time control, and has a few different options regarding blinking mode or slow mode regarding the lighting. I cannot say that it looks particularly realistic, but if you are looking to add to your scene, it’s not a bad choice. The bottom part is very sturdy so you will not have an issue with it being knocked over by pets.

We wanted an alternative to a Christmas *pine* tree. This filled the need, looks great, doesn't need watering, isn't messy, and takes up far less room in the house. Very satisfied.

We have high vaults and purchased the 7' tree placing it in a large pot. It looks amazing. All lit up at night, or, during the day it just warms up the room. May not be the perfect fit for a traditional type. If your a little outside the box it's ideal. We love it.

I decorated it with hanging pink flamingos! We just moved to Florida and I love our "first Christmas tree".I also bought a tall metal pink flamingo to stand next to it. The lights are bright and beautiful, really cute from the outside at night. I put a fake fern in a wicker pot at the bottom to cover up the stand. Really cute!!So worth the price.
