This hitch is a great investment. Very sturdy and easy to use. I love that it's a one and done set and has everything you need including locks. Our truck is a bit lifted and we needed a large drop to accommodate a very low-set trailer we borrowed. I got the 8" just in case and that's a good thing because we needed it. Most things we tow don't need that drop, it's just this particular trailer that has tiny wheels.That said, I hadn't considered that those extra 2" mean a lot less clearance in the back. We've scraped it once pulling out of a poorly graded lot and it barely clears most parking lot sidewalk curbs. If you flip it up, it's liable to hit your bed door when you open it.You're probably going to want to take it off when not in use, you can't just leave it on all the time and forget about it. The 6" would be a lot more flexible if you can get away with it.

Probably one of the best products out there. I’ve purchased two of these for two different trucks and if you install them correctly with the rubber bushings and tension it properly, it works perfectly. Other hitches have ALOT OF SLOP to them which makes for a noisy unsure type of ride when towing. Hands down one of the best for my needs!

Easy to use and switch from one tow ball to another. Lower or raise as needed. Has the smaller 1 7/8 ball also. I know I pulled a load way over rated specs. Not recommended by me to do that by the way. Six skids around 2600 lbs each plus trailer weight around 3000 lbs too. Also comes with locks to secure your hitch and balls. Some people are thieves,my last hitch was stolen after 20 plus yrs of service on 3 different trucks. It was usually locked,one day not and one day gone

Just received, have not towed anything yet. Looks good and slides together well, no “cheat sheet” so looked up to clarify the metal/plastic anti vibration rings

Very well made. All parts fit with tight tolerances. Hitch did not rattle on 3k mile trip. No problems and no visible wear.

Well built. Using the shims and adjustment screw that comes with it you can get a tight fit in the receiver. Nothing loose, no rattles. I am pleased with the purchase.
