Can you buy an extra the charger?

We have not had a need for buying an extra charger, as we have had swivel sweepers at both our houses before, and when they wore out, we got the new Swivel Sweeper Max, and the former chargers still work.

do you have to plug in the whole unit or does the battery detach for charging?

The battery detaches from the unit and snaps into a wall charger that is supplied with the unit. This is a very nice floor sweeper. I have two of them.

My sweeper seems to have died or it barely goes. I charge the battery but it doesnt matter. Whats up with it?

My battery was several years old and would't hold a charge for long. Had to get new battery. Also check to make sure the little wheels that turn the brushes are not packed with hair or anything.It will drain the battery .

Do they ever have a 2 for1 sale?

not that I know of. Usually about $30 each
