A Life in Fabric: Bring Colour, Pattern and Texture into Your Home

This book is a must have for anybody who loves to collect Home decor books. I seen it at HomeGoods and was so sad that the last one they had was damaged. Rather than remain on the hunt, I came straight to Amazon and was so happy it was available. It is beautiful quality, and the perfect statement piece for my coffee table. The fabrics and patterns inside are absolutely stunning and so inspirational. As far as pictures go, this is my favorite book from this author, and I highly recommend it.

I love Cabbages and Roses and this book is truly inspirational. It’s divided into chapters according to colour and I really can’t decide my favourite; they’re all gorgeous. I love the writing style of this and much prefer it to Ms Strutt’s previous books. If you love Cabbages and Roses I think you’ll be inspired by this and although some of the pictures are available elsewhere, the accompanying narrative is informative and interesting. I fully recommend it.

It's my new fabric Bible. I learned a lot especially about the color purple 💜 never knew the history. This is the best book they've made.

Excellent photography and a journey through the many years Cabbages & Roses has been in existence. Beautiful original designs still going strong, these fabrics never date and neither does the photography. Fascinating story and beautifully written. highly recommend

I love all of Christina’s books but this one is my favorite. So many beautiful pictures. You won’t be disappointed if you buy it.
