Great value for money
I got this for Christmas as I love true crime mystery games. The quality of the materials was amazing and I liked the multimedia experience of emailing the inspector, calling places and looking up information on websites.Took one star off due to the email sometimes not working properly - I emailed the solution but got the same auto reply back that I’d need to look again, even though the website hints confirmed I got it right. I ended up watching a youtube video to find out what information I would have gotten back.Overall, I really enjoyed playing this and would definitely buy another game if Big Potato produces more cases!

Wanted to try something new
Got this for Christmas time. Very different type of board game. No dice but a lot of brain power is used. Highly recommend for people who enjoy true crime & would like a chance of solving a case themselves from their armchair. Is more interactive than I thought as you can email this address in game for clues & what to do next.

Disappointing and confusing :(
I bought this game thinking it’d be fun to try a ‘true mystery’. I’m a big fan of true crime but this game was a waste of time. I was really excited that it was online (although I thought a phone/device was going to be included); but it turns out to be really frustrating as you have to email a lot of people and is unhelpful. A lot of the clues were not even written down or specified and we had to go on the website to find the solution. I got bored really quickly but still wanted to continue the game as I didn’t want it to feel like a waste.Although; the packaging and design was amazing, you felt like a true detective while trying to solve the cases. The badge was a nice touch and pictures were really clear.My partner and I spent hours trying to figure all three cases and it was a total nightmare. It generates a lot of confusion and anxiety. This game could be better if the instructions are more clear. Having to go to websites and waiting for emails did not lead to anything useful that was not unknown already.Would not recommend it.
