Poor battery ruins a great device

Very good doorbell...with absolutely rubbish battery. Lasts Up to 7 days on minimal settings: min video quality settings, minimal detection zone, minimum sensitivity, short clip length.Have it for 2 months and had to charge every week.Don't know, maybe got a faulty device. But, apparently, I am not alone with this issue.
