This was extremely effective on my brows. I'll be buying the dark brown in future instead.The applicator that comes with the set is just a little plastic stick that is pretty much useless. I used an old mascara wand I washed really well for the application which I think allowed me better control. My lashes are very blond at the root and the tips. When I close my eyes there are still light coloured parts close to the root but that's ok.The developer gel is a chemical and it will make your eye sting just from proximity so if you can keep your eye closed immediately after application that's ideal.Next time I do this I will wipe the mascara wand I'm using on a tissue to remove excess products and allow me to apply it more like a mascara. Having excessive product on the wand did result in some ending up on my skin. The under eye shields are total garbage. I applied Vaseline lip balm to the skin to serve as a barrier and I'll do this around my brows too for next time.I'll also be doing this in the bathroom with everything I need to wash it off ready to go so I don't have to stumble from my sofa to the sink with my eyes closed.I'll continue using the black on my lashes, but I'll get a brown for the brows so it's not quite such a startling change.

I was so excited to try this. I do not really want to wear mascara anymore. I would rather just tint my eyelashes. I have light brown lashes and light brown hair. It did not tint the eyelashes for the advertised up to 4 weeks. It worked for about 1 day. I can buy mascara if I need it for a day. Very difficult to put on as well. You really need a lash brush to apply, so I had to take one out of an older mascara. The flat spatula thing provided was very difficult to apply and very messy. I really wanted it to work, but it did not.

Product was easy to use & I’m still happy 4 days later.

I’ve been tinting my own eyelashes for a while now and purchased this brand recently as I could not find the 1000 hour brand I normally use. I was very disappointed with this product. I consider myself fairly experienced with tinting my lashes and did not find this easy to use. This definitely stung more (a lot more) than I think it should and did not tint my lashes very well nor did it seem to last. The curling “mascara” is just a separate tube not to be mixed in with the tinting process (the instructions were not very clear on this) and did nothing for me. I will not be buying this again. My lashes are already darker in general so maybe this will work best on blond or light lashes, but I’m not sure the sting is worth it even then.

I’m probably not the only one who grumbled when the old version of this product was discontinued. Instead of two tubes we now get three sets of pouches with just enough product to do the job. Carefully open each pouch and squoosh it onto the little card in the designated spot. Do not drag your towel across the card. 😬 The small white tool that was included did not work as well as I had hoped so I supplemented with a brush I already had. The kit includes some curling gel, which I don’t need, but I did not see an option to purchase just the tint by itself. Somewhere in the small print, it does tell you that the color will continue to develop over the next few hours and I found that to be true. I love going make up free, but I don’t love that. My eyelashes are going pale as I age. This product Really works well.

I have been using this brand for years and it had worked well. However, when I last purchased it in April 2023, the No. 2 activator gel was not the same - it was muddy, thick, and brown. It's usually a clear caramel color. I sent it back and was sent another package. However, the No. 2 activator gel was the same consistency as in the first one, so the product is not as effective as it used to be. I have since moved on to another product that works better.

I love the results that this dye gives me. I’ve used another product before, but I really wasn’t happy with it. I felt like the color didn’t saturate… But this product has given me long lasting, really dark eyelashes (my eyelashes are usually an ashy blonde/brown usually). I absolutely love it. This is the second batch I bought. I’ll admit, I haven’t tried the curling aspect of it yet, but it seems simple enough. But like I said, the dye alone makes it worth it to me.

I've used other eyelash tinting products before so I thought I'd try this one because it takes less time to process, per their instructions. As usual, it was nothing more than a big, gloppy mess (yes, I made sure to not over-saturate) that ends up getting in your eyes so your eyes burn, you wash it off and in the end, your lashes look exactly like they did when you started. They say you can apply it a second time if you'd like your lashes to be darker but after all the mess and pain for the first try, why would you? As far as the "lash lift" goes, it's nothing more than setting lotion for your eyelashes that you then set in place with a standard eyelash curler. It makes your lashes look bent more than lifted and your lashes feel crunchy and stiff afterwards. So much for no "bulk" on your lashes. Stick with a nice, lightweight mascara and you'll be a thousand times happier with how your lashes look than after you've used this. Mine went straight to the trash and I will never buy again.
