GowiToys 559-46 Turtle Sand and Water Mill

The toddler this was bought for played with this non-stop, in and out of the bath. Just the summer for constant waterplay and this item seemed very robust. It was carefully packed and delivered quickly. Will no doubt give years of good service.

Grandaughter likes it for her sandpit but feel its quite pricey for what it is. Not as strong as id expect for the price

Nice toy can use with water or dry sand.

I bought this for my son, and it is a wonderful toy, he uses it not only with water and sand, but also with rice and chickpeas during 'messy play'- A really great toy!

Bought this for my 1 year old nephew - he absolutely loves it! His 4 year old brother enjoys playing with it too.

This product is made of very thin light plastic, although it is not cheap!It is awkward for a child to reach up to pour sand in the top without knocking the whole thing over as it has no stability. You cannot use it as a water wheel because it falls over as soon as you try to stand it in a bath or paddling pool. Very bad design all round

Bought this for the sandpit but the sand doesn't really flow through very well. It's still living in there, but we didn't really use it that much. Might be better in the bath.

Bello! Molto colorato e resistente. Lo credevo più piccolo e invece è una misura adatta anche per bambini più grandi. Va a sabbia e acqua. Azzeccato per l'estate, ma anche per l'inverno giocandoci magari con la farina gialla da polenta per ricreare la spiaggia in una giornata uggiosa

Lieferung kam schnell und pünktlich, so dass ich die Sandmühle heute meinem kleinen Neffen (knapp 2 Jahre alt) schenken konnte. Sie ist super bei ihm angekommen und er hat sie gleich rundum ausprobiert. Optimal funktioniert sie natürlich mit Wasser, aber auch trockener Sand lässt die Räder gut drehen. Für kleinere Kinder, die das Prinzip noch nicht ganz durchschauen, einfach die Mühle umdrehen und den Sand in die Öffnung der Schildkröte schütten, dann drehen sich die Räder auch bei nassem Sand. (Der obere Trichter eignet sich natürlich nur für trockenen Sand oder Wasser). Die Mühle lässt sich in zwei Teile zerlegen (wenn auch nicht ganz leichtgängig) und die Schildkröte kann man zusätzlich als "Sandförmchen" verwenden. Je nachdem wie das Material auf die Räder fällt, dreht sich manchmal nur ein Rad, und der Sand rieselt zwischen den Rädern durch, aber das sehen die Kleinen nicht so kritisch und es macht ihnen schon Freude, dass man die Räder auch manuell bewegen kann. Der obere Trichter wird von ihnen bisweilen auch mal als "Eimer" für nassen Sand "zweckentfremdet", und auch da haben sie ihren Spass. Selbst wenn es sich bei der Sandmühle um einen Gegenstand aus Plastik handelt, wirkt dieses sehr hochwertig und robust und hält einiges aus. Ich kann dieses Spielzeug für zweijährige Kinder, die gerne Sand spielen, sehr empfehlen.

Wir haben diese Sandmühle für unseren 1jährigen Enkel gekauft. Ist ist wohl eine der wenigen dieser Art, die tatsächlich auch mit (trockenem!) Sand funktionieren. Es wirkt sehr robust, wie lange es halten wird, können wir noch nicht beurteilen. Wir würden sie wieder kaufen.
