Important Fit note
This bead is so tight it I couldn’t get it out of the channel on my Ibis S35s. On the same rims I’ve mounted DHF, DHR2, Teravail Honcho, etc. with a floor pump or maybe the air shot of it got tricky. This guy, took 2 bike shop employees, a compressor, and all the swear words in the book.But, this tire is darned beast, I’ll see how it goes when it’s midsummer and dry AF. But, I have high hopes!!

Labeled as enduro casing, it’s actually the heavier DH casing.
Still an amazing tire, love it more than the dhr II is replaced but I wanted an enduro casing that’s listed, not the heavier DH casing for my rear tire.

Good tire, made in Germany, hard to mount
So far the tire has performed well in rocky terrain. Tire was extremely difficult to mount with a tire insert rim protector, ended up breaking a couple plastic tire levers. Make sure you have good quality tire levers to mount these. Once mounted they seated & sealed up great and have been performing fine.
