Tang Orange Powdered Drink Mix, Makes 6 Quarts (20oz Canister, Pack of 6)

I wanted something to flavor the psyllium husk powder I mix with water and take every day. I hate the taste of psyllium, and researched what I could add to it to make it palatable. I didn't want ANY artificial sweeteners of any kind (they're all slow poisons to me) and so I needed to find something with plain ole natural sugar, and so Tang - my favorite powder drink of my childhood - came to mind. I was absolutely amazed it is still available and that Amazon sold it in bulk quantity. I immediately ordered it - hoping it hadn't changed and wouldn't disappoint me. It didn't - it's exactly the same as it was way back when it first came out. And it still contains 100% of your daily Vitamin C in just two tablespoons in 8 oz of water -- and it still dissolves instantly and completely. - Perfect. If you loved the drink of astronauts back in the 60's, you'll probably love it even more today. - Get some!

This is good stuff! Back in the days when man was first stepping on the moon, I thought it was the most advanced things since, well, rocket science. But somehow it disappeared off my radar. Bought some recently -- only to find, delightfully, its as good this century as last. It mixes well with tea and spices and other juices, also. Handy to have for spur-of-the-moment camping trips, and its VERY reassuring to have some tucked away in my emergency rations, should I ever have to dash out the door due to some unexpectedly harsh weather event or the like, or hunker down for 72 hours or more before help could arrive. Plus, I really like the jars it comes in now -- lid can serve as a cup, and its deep enough, when screwed down on the jar, to keep the contents clean and dry come what may. Fine product... I'm pleased as punch -- well, rather, Tang -- that I bought it.

When I ordered this 6 pack last year, only ONE canister arrived and Amazon, good people, credited me for the order. I am trying again, having gone through two 72oz canisters in the past year, and now, just not into that much Tang. Will repost success or failure when it arrives. Oh, the product itself... Nothing beats Tang. Nothing else tastes like it! It's extremely good, goes great in mocktails, spritzers, or as a sugar drenched drink all by itself. This is the only sugar I eat and that is my excuse for not avoiding the high sugar content. Vitamin C addition is very good too, so it's not all just for fun.

Can I say how much I love tang? I recently relocated to Texas for school and found that they sell Tang here! I was extremely excited, so I bought a few canisters and called it a day. Unfortunately, my next visit to the store didn't have such happy results. Not sure if they were out of stock or I caught a fluke shipment but I couldn't find it anywhere. Now that I had started drinking it again I couldn't exactly try and forget it now could I?Instead I headed to amazon to pick up a six pack of deliciousness. Fantastic product, love the taste. If you don't have access to orange juice all the time, or want something more convenient, this definitely hits the spot.

As far as I can tell, this is the original TANG, the drink of the astronauts. I react badly to artificial sweeteners like aspartame, so this was a concern. Also, smaller containers may be more expensive than large, but in terms of storage it is better. The powder tends to cake up in large containers if not consumed fast enough. Smaller containers assure the unused stock remain sealed until needed. For you who wish you could read the label, these are the INGREDIENTS listed -Sugar, Fructose, Citric Acid, less than 2% of Natural Flavor, Ascorbic Acid (vit.C), Maltodextrin, Calcium Phosphate, Guar and Xanthan Gums, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Artificial Color, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, BHAAlso, shipping was very reasonable (USPS), and surprisingly very fast. I think it was less than a week in getting here. Overall, Im very happy with my purchase and wish I ordered more.

Love this Drink mix. been using it since it first came out. could not find locally for a while now I have a many months supple.Packed well and all 6 ire undamaged. this vender is recommendable.

Love that I can regulate the amount of flavor and sugar because somedays I like it sweeter and somedays I don't.
