OtterBox Defender is the only case I've bought for my iPhone since my first one in '08. If you scratch a few extra bucks together, buy this over the Commuter. If you work in the television or audio-visual fields where you are smacking against walls or dropping your phone regular on macadam or ballroom floors, you'll be glad you bought this instead of some POS thin brand. Half mine since March of 2024 and only now is it starting to fall apart after some serious beatings.

Coming apart after 18 months
Decent case. My elderly father likes it. It was a gift to him. Unfortunately after 18 months it’s coming apart so I ordered him another one.
