Q: Is the leopard print a canvas material or nylon?

I did not buy the leopard print. Mine is black quilted nylon. Wonderful bag. light weight and holds a lot!

Q: Is this bag sturdy enough to stand up on its own? Like, if I set it on the ground, will it fall over on its side?

My bag has not fallen over. The bottom is great fir shoes or hair tools. The main or top part of the bag seems to be sturdy enough and doesn’t fall over.

Q: Can this be my personal item along with my carry on?

Not quite sure…. When not overstuffed it fits under seat but is slightly larger than a regular size backpack… you could try and always check your carry on it a suitcase at the gate if this presents a problem…. However it towered nicely with my large suitcase that I did check
