It's a night light. It does its job. :-) We have these suckers all over the place, as well as at parents' homes. They are not painfully bright, and the light is very well diffused. They are slim, hold fast to the plug and live forever. We have some that are many years old. Not a single one last failed or lost it's brightness. And, they are aesthetically clean as well. We keep going back to these when we need or need to recommend night lights.

I purchased these night lights because of the reviews talking about how dim they are, which is exactly what I wanted. I wanted lights that made it possible to see enough not to bump into things, but not so so bright that they wake you up in the middle of the night. These low light night lights are perfect if you are looking for very low light. I wish they had an on/off switch, as they stay on in dim light during the day, but for the price, I'm not complaining. I am really glad they exist!

It’s fairly dim, but later at night when you wake up and need to use the bathroom, it provides just enough light.

These are really wonderful! I have them all over the house. They work well as night lights to guide guests safely to the kitchen at night, or provide just enough light in the bathroom so that you don't have to blind yourself or fumble around during those middle-of-the-night trips. They have a clean contemporary design and the light sensors seem to work very well, I have never noticed a faulty one after years of use.

Very nice, low light. It helps me get thru the dark parts of my old farm house.

These are significantly dimmer than the other style Energizer night lights I own, and that's exactly what I was looking for! If you need a dim nightlight these are perfect! The other Energizer night lights I have are a different design and much brighter, but those are only useful in some areas, the ones being reviewed here are perfect for my countertop areas and bedrooms because they are dim enough to not be bothersome! Pictures are as follows: comparison between the 2 styles I am speaking about, with this dim style on top. Then the bright nightlight only. Then the dim only. No camera adjustment was made.

Was looking for the everlast nightlight that had years ago. This is better bc light illuminates the room with soft yellow. It isn’t super bright bc that’s what a regular light does.

I have these night lights for many years but for some reason these new ones are very dim and the light color is green instead of warm white. they have since been returned.
