I've used this kit on a half-dozen cloth projects since I bought it, and every one worked just fine. Not much else you can say - it does what it's supposed to do. I'm not sure this is the tool for a leatherworker, but it's certainly faster and easier than buttons or zippers for small cloth based projects.

Waste of Money
Very good idea, but not working. Tried several ways to install even just the snaps themselves, none successful. Total waste of money and have trashed after several tries.

Very helpful in making a homemade comforter cover. I haven’t washed the cover yet to know how it will hold up in the machine but over all happy..

Poor quality crimper and no plastic organizer included like pictured
This is a horrible snap set for two main reasons. None of the snaps actually came in a plastic storage case like pictured and the pliar style snap crimps are extremely poor quality. I literally bent the handles of the crimper with my bare hand putting snaps on a double thick cotton woven baseball cap strap. This kit was bought to modify the rear fastening straps on the ball cap and I made it through 4 snaps before the handles of the crimper were bent to the point that it was no longer useable. The snaps are steel and seem of ok quality but the hand crimper was a joke. If you plan on crimping through double thick woven cotton, buy a different crimper.

Very effective for home use. Made grommets for my garden shade cloth. Also utilized for placement of privacy coverage for outside shower.

Excellent product. I bought this to make children's clothing. Sturdy tool, fast and easy to use, comes with photo instructions. The tool is well designed, it has rubber ends which hold the pieces apart before you clamp them together. I also like how the tool has a hole in one of the arm ends so you can better see where you are placing the snap on the garment. The snaps stay in place very securely. Would purchase again.

The product and supplied Plier tool works great and is easy to use.The selected Eyelet Ring colors are sufficient enough for most projects.Be mindful that these Snap fasteners are light duty.Storage container is a must - ThanksHighly recommend this product for purchase.

Best Purchase
Had looked at these before and was skeptical, so very glad I took the plunge they have made my life so much easier. Now I hope to be able to find the correct snaps again and hopefully just in silver or black and not all the other colours

Broke pretty quick
The press broke the first time I used it. I kept the snaps anyway but haven't been able to use them without a way to put them in. I wasn't rough with it, it just isn't very durable.

this product was fine, but the unit I thought I ordered was to repair tarps but the grommets where to small. this unit was for smaller jobs. did not suet my purpose.
