I really love this all-natural food coloring. It worked really well in a rainbow cake, and for coloring pasta. For the cake I used an entire box of 10 packets (5 colors), and a packet of red velvet. For the pasta I used a box of 3 packets (3 colors). A few notes: Nice coloring, but expensive for a large cake and icing. Could taste the red and yellow when I used a lot in the test cake I made. The yellow permanently stained my wilton cake pan. A dark purple is hard to achieve following the directions, next time I'll try using red instead of pink in the mixture. Update: I keep coming back to this food coloring, it's my favorite brand. I recommend dissolving the powder in a small amount of liquid first, letting it sit for a few minutes, stirring until smooth, and then stirring in to whatever you're making.

Great for frostings on cakes & cupcakes. I did notice colors are not as vibrant as the packaging, but at this point safety was my concern for eating not bright crazy coloring! I also had good luck using it in homemade playdough and "pink pancakes"! Will buy again in future when this box is gone. Perfect product for what I needed in our home. You have to use the whole package at once, if you leave the powder in the package, regardless how well you close it, it will change color (oxidation process, most likely). I was not able to use it second time to recreated a nice pink color for my merengue cookies.

these are soo good for dye free option to actually get good color! will purchase again

It’s important to me to keep artificial dyes out of my home, this is a great option! Doesn’t have a weird taste and colors turned out vibrant!

These work for the most part, pretty good. You can't taste it. I put it in homemade buttercream. The instructions say you can just add the powder directly in. I wouldn't I would hydrate it with something first like your vanilla or milk what you add. Even a few drops of water. With that being said these worked great. Used more than I would have liked of the powders but I know what to change for next time. And thank you for not having allergen items in these. Made it great to use for sensitive people. The color was good enough. Couldn't get the red fully red but it was good enough. Pretty bright all considered.

Very, very pale in color. I had to use almost an entire packet to just get a decent color. Not worth the money
