Nice camera at a very good price, good customer support
I have a project building an indoor surveillance camera for my friend that will email motion-activated images, day or night. It is meant to work when she's not home and I don't live there, so remote access is a plus. I'm currently testing with this camera, stuck with non-conductive thermal tape to aluminum channel as heat-sink, https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MSL64XG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 a RAVPower Li-Po 22000mAh Battery Pack with pass-through, https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G1XH46M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 various USB cables and power switches, https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UR321B6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 a Netgear Unite 770S 4G LTE Mobile Wifi Hotspot for internet even on battery power, https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BLTCZ70/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with motion installed to raspbian on a Pi 3 B+ as the brains, all packed into an inexpensive wooden box from Michael's, mounted with Velcro 90593. Remote access is accomplished by installing RealVNC to raspbian. As the hotspot uses a limited bandwidth account, I have the image size set to 480x640, to reduce bandwidth for the emails. The test site is of the back stairs about 15' away from the window where the camera is located. The day pictures are clear and it's easy to adjust the focus. Night pictures at the test site are a little dark but they will be more detailed inside at my friend's. I have explored the option of using a 12V illuminator, https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CJDJ3VP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with upconverter, https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ID90K4A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but I'll do the installation with the lower-power LEDs on this camera to extend battery life during an outage. The LEDs have a tiny adjusting screw for brightness. I am pleased, also, with support I received from the seller.

IR-Cut filter non functional
At least with a Pi Zero W, the camera is always stuck in day mode and the filter does not work

Works great for DIY Video Doorbell
Works perfect for my project.I built a custom video doorbell using a Raspberry PI with motionEyeOS installed as the image processor.I use a Wemos D1 Mini to control the Doorbell button press and have a 2nd R-PI setup as a web-client to stream live video feeds from the motionEye camera to my TV. When the doorbell is pressed, the Wemos sends a webhook trigger to IFTTT to automatically switch my TV to the security video feed via Harmony Hub.This works better than I expected. The IR Cut automatically switches when the light levels get low (gets dark) and the IR LED's turn on the same way. No need for special coding or anything. They have built in CDS cells on the boards to handle the light detection.I made a custom enclosure for the camera and IR LEDs as well as the door bell button (image attached).I put a reflective sheet of tinging material under a Lexan cover to hide the IR emitters (you can just see the one on the right in the image).Takes great pics and videos for my Smart Doorbell ;)

One of the lights doesn't work. I haven't programmed it to the Pi yet so I don't know how much it will affect night vision.

works great with motioneyeos
The camera works flawlessly with Motioneyeos 20190911 on an RPi Model B+. The only issue I have is that the IS lights stay on, even during daylight. Each light has a light sensor so and should have the ability to shut off during daytime. This is important to me as I need to run the camera setup off a battery.

The best for monitoring my 3d printing and other stuff you wanna do with it.
This thing is great and I had no problems. I just screwed it together and connected to my raspberry pi 4 B. Simple plug and play no need to configure. it just does get hot. I recommend getting heatsinks for it. (The case does not come included i found it on thingiverse. (thing:4227360 for the case thing:4489831 for the ender 5 corner mount)

This little camera is great, been having a blast recording time lapse videos
This little camera is great, been having a blast recording time lapse videos. Only one potential issue is the heat genetated from this thing, but nothing a little fan can't solve.

Five Stars
No issues after figuring out how to focus the lens.
