Perfect for toddlers to help in the kitchen!
This step stool is exactly what we needed! It's sturdy enough for an adult to use, lightweight, folds and unfolds easily, is the right height for my toddler to work at the counter, and I love how big the top step is so that he can feel secure standing on it. I'm glad that I got this instead of a learning tower- it'll far outlast it because adults can use it too!

I love it and so does my little guy!
Bought this with high hopes and it exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to use and clean and secure. It takes one hand to put up and just one click to fold away. It stores easily and is compact. It’s plastic and therefore is easy to clean when spills inevitably happen. I love the little safety bar that you can attach at the back and that too is easy to install and uninstall when finished. I can’t get over this learning tower. My little guy loves climbing up it and will stand there helping momma for a long time. Recommend 10/10.

Overall great, but could use a few improvements
The media could not be loaded. We have a small house and everyone I know has those wooden learning towers for their toddlers. I know there are some that fold but they didn’t seem practical enough for me. I like to buy products that are as multi-use as possible. I’m so glad I saw this on Instagram before I bought a learning tower for my 14 month old. We use this when brushing his teeth, washing his hands, and so he can watch us cook.Pros:- It’s light- it folds open and closed easily with one hand- Slim profile when closed- no assembly needed- There are fairly wide gaps around all sides of the standing area. This may not seem like a pro, but it is to me because it’s a good opportunity to teach my little about risks and safety.- Safety bar locks securely, the person who posted a video of the bar coming off did not seem to have lock it correctly.- I LOVE that I can also use this to get things from high shelves. The wide step area makes me feel secure.Cons:- doesn’t lock when folded. We don’t have an issue with it opening up when folded, but I think it would be safer if it locked when closed.- This thing slides easily. Really no grip on the feet. I don’t know if this is somehow intentional so if a child pushes it, it will slide instead of tip over.. but my little is excitable and when he jumps in it will slide a bit (though I guess another opportunity to teach about safety) and sometimes it slides a little when he tries to climb on it. Not a huge issue because I can just buy grip pads for the bottom.- There is a Velcro strap that keeps the safety bar strapped to a side bar, but it’s kind of inconvenient to use because you have to wrap it around both bars. You would definitely want it to be strapped when your child is climbing on and off, but it’s not quick. Bad explanation - but you can see in the photo and video.Overall, I really like this and even with the cons, I would still buy the same one!

Convinient
Does it's job well. Stores small and easy to use be careful that the snap bar goes in all the way and clicks otherwise if they lean on it they will fall through

Great step stool & learning tower
Initially purchased just for my then 16 months old (tall for her age, 88th %tile for height at the time) to use as a stepping stool to wash hands by the kitchen sink & watch the adults prepare food at the kitchen counter. She liked it immediately so it was a win from the start.Since it's marketed as a step stool for kids, I do wish this came with a bar or a "half wall" on the front side and maybe another folding bar on each side, placed lower so the smaller kids cannot slip/fall through the front or either side. My toddler had a couple close call falls through the sides (when she tried to get up and get down on her own in the beginning, a couple of times one of her feet slipped through the big open space on the side, she learned how to safely use it, but still it would be nice to have extra safety measure). There was one time my toddler was excited about making her own waffle batter that she jumped up and down on the step stool and almost slipped toward the front side. Maybe it's just my kitchen cabinet doors, maybe other families who use this in their kitchens won't have this gap when the step stool is placed against their cabinet doors. There's a small gap between our kitchen cabinet and the step stool when it's pushed in. My toddler can't really "fall through the front" that way but can get her foot stuck in that gap if she slips (since there's no mesh, bar, or "wall" on the front). So for about 1 month we used another wooden one that had "walls" on the sides for safety and she learned how to get on / off a step stool safely and now she uses this one with ease as well. She's been using it daily for about 5 months. We keep this in a bathroom off the kitchen for her to use to wash hands and she will push/pull this to the kitchen whenever she wants to watch or "help" us prepare meals. I've also used this to reach things above the cabinets above my refrigerator a few times with no issue, and I weigh 220lbs.We have 3 kids step stools total, this one from Costco, a plastic one (shown in picture), and a wooden one that has 3 steps instead of 2. We keep them in different parts of the house and I think this Cosco step stool is my kid's favorite of the 3 because it's the only one that she has pulled & pushed around to use.All in all, I'm happy with it. I like the color (true to shown on pictures). I like it can be folded and we have folded & unfolded it at least 100 times with no problem. Easy to wipe clean. Spacious platform for my kid to turn around while on there and it holds just fine when used by adults. Have had it for about 6 months and have no regrets with this purchase.
