Very good item. It is well made, fits well many body shapes (I bought one for a skinny tween and one for a stronger build teen). The design is quite conservative (higher waste, short style), I feel good having my teen/tween girls wear this garment.

Purchased these for summer months when kids love to go swimming. However, as soon as I received them and took them out of the plastic, you could see how incredibly bulky and obvious it was that these were menstrual swim bottoms. I would have been very self conscious to wear these as it was extremely obvious. I didn’t even try them on. Immediately returned.

There is no way I would wear these, let alone my tween daughter. The photos are misleading - there are obvious seams where the pads are sewn in so its clear to everyone they are period shorts. She found the inside leg seams uncomfortable (but she is very sensitive to those things). I can't answer to how well they work as we are returning them. I thought it was worth a try since period swim is so expensive but I was wrong. She would rather wear regular period underwear under board shorts. They did arrive very quickly.

These are bulky and look like you are wearing a diaper. Terrible cut.
