Comfortable, smart and great to wear.
I have to give 5 stars for these slippers because they're worth the highest ranking I can give. They're the most comfortable slippers I've ever worn, even straight out of the box, and they're just great to wear while walking or just sitting around. What I like about them the most, apart from how great they look no matter what I'm wearing with them, is the small lip around the heel that stops them from falling off my feet when stepping backwards or coming down the stairs. Having leather uppers they allow my feet to breathe, and they're a pleasure to wax up and polish because they'll no doubt stay looking just as smart, if not even smarter with a few wrinkles from wear, in years to come. The stitching is superb and so is the fit. The sole looks hard-wearing and grips shiny floor surfaces perfectly. I have quite wide feet and did what a lot of the other buyers suggested by buying a pair one size larger than I would usually do when buying shoes, so bear that in mind for both length and width.

excellent quality and very comfortable.
It's nice to find such a good quality product . I've not experienced the problems reported by other reviewers of needing a size larger than normal or being too narrow. My normal size fitted perfectly and the width was fine (I have wide feet). These are extremely comfortable and well made slippers. the only confusing thing is the way Amazon display the sizing with black ones being listed as 10UK and brown as 10 implying they may be American sizing. I order the brown size 10 and they cam (as I was hoping) as a UK 10.

Does exactly what it is says on the tin!
I once had a pair of Simple leather clogs which lasted almost twenty years and have looked for a replacement for some time. Having recently worn out a pair of Clarks after only 18 months I stumbled across these whilst debating about another pair of Simple clogs.Like other reviewers I would say that the sizing is ‘snug’. I ordered a size 10 as this is my daily size and have to say that initially I was thinking of returning for a larger size however after a few days of wearing over Christmas they have given a little and are now a good fit (I do have ‘slim’ fit feet which may have something to do with it).The overall quality of the slipper is first rate. The leather has a good feel and actually appears to be leather! I opted for the leather lined version and this does make them a little ‘squeaky’ when wearing bare footed but again this is improving with use. The soles are strong and durable and are ideal for thee occasional dustbin run or garage shuffle. Overall, highly impressed.

Almost Fit for Purpose
Over the last couple of years I have rather foolishly bought relatively cheap slippers (£8-£12) via Amazon on the strength of generally positive reviews. However, and maybe not all that surprising, they maybe okay in the short term but come 3 or 4 months down the line and things quite literally start to fall apart! So this time I thought I would put quality as my priority and damn the expense; and again based on positive reviews I opted for a black pair of size 10s, and I have to say that after a week's use I am generally pleased with my purchase. The only couple of points I would make is a) I take a size 10 shoe and so opted for a 10 slipper. They fit very well on "cold" feet, but once you've spent 2 or more hours in them they do become quite tight, probably due to my feet swelling due to all the walking I did. It wasn't particularly uncomfortable, just more noticeable (even more so when wearing socks). I suppose I could have gone for a size 11, but that would have meant an initial loose fitting until my feet had "warmed up"The second point concerns longevity. I am hoping these slippers see their 1st birthday and don't end up in the bin worn and not fit for purpose. As that would be highly disappointing given the so-called quality standard and price to match!Perhaps I will update this review accordingly - but just remember my first point: they fit well initially but may become tight during the day.

Understated design and quality
Nice quality leather very comfortable ..using them as slippers, lovely leather smell hits you as soon as you open the box .stitching good with no poor or missed stitches quality build that look like they will last...my wife tells me these are old mans shoes and is not keen (I'm 47)....but these are robut so are able slippers for doing the wheelie bin run, or in and out of the garden with no worry of damaging them or becoming waterlogged or used for normal all day useSize guide advised size 12.....these were to big so will have to send them back ...reordered size 11 and these were a great fit ....my normal size is all over the place ....trainers up to size 12-13 work boots 11,shoes 11 .....only negative is post and packaging ....as i have now to pay postage three ways est £20.....that said the quality and fit should repay themselves in years of use ....or when i become an "old man"lolOrder your true size and you should be fine

Samuel Windsor Men's Leather slipper mules
I've waited some weeks to see how well I got on with the slippers before reviewing. This is the first time I have purchased the Samuel Windsor Men's Leather slipper mules. They certainly look good. I have wide feet and a high instep so I ordered a couple a couple of sizes bigger than I would normally do, and for me and my feet, I'm pleased that I did. The leather, I suppose unsurprisingly, has been slow in giving and so even now, after a few weeks, I'm still not wearing them all the time, reverting to my very old & worn slippers especially when I have bare feet. However, I'm starting to wear these new ones more and they are getting to feel more comfortable. Would I buy these again? Yes propbably.

Highest quality but read reviews on sizing.
As described, quality leather slipper suitable for occasional outside wear. Sole is hard plastic and I expect to have plenty of life. What made me nervous from previous reviews was the fit. I have wide feet and although snug on arrival the leather eased after a couple of days and now very comfortable. For length, I ordered a 13 when I am a 12 in a shoe, and my feet are comfortably inside the small upstand on the rear. I would say go a size larger than your usual shoe size. Guessing they are made on a 12 last/sole but you need a slightly more relaxed fit for a slipper. Highly recommended.
