I've placed some heavy items on my countertop (including myself), and these brackets hold up exceptionally well, giving me confidence in their durability. The only drawback is that I wish the screws and bolts were a bit longer for a more secure fit, especially in thicker countertops. However, this is a minor issue considering the overall performance.
