It IS touchscreen...
Bought this to replace my old HP touchscreen laptop that I had had for 8 years or so. Glad they've improved the hinges which broke on both my last two HP laptops. Have only had this one for day but am very happy with the new one. Packed well and appreciated no Styrofoam. Only downside is that I was told by my 'puter store guy that my old one had a replaceable battery and the new ones don't. The battery is built in. I thought it was another instance of the "don't fix, just buy a new one" economic mindset and that with the fact that I thought this one was NOT touchscreen (according to several reviews) made me look for a "renewed" one of my old model. Found one and was going to buy it, but Amazon wouldn't ship it to me (I live in Hawaii) so I bought this new one.

Fits my needs perfectly!
I love everything about it! Especially the numeric keyboard! When you have a lot of numbers to input and you can do it by touch, a numeric keyboard is a necessity. Not to mention the fact that it's fast, lightweight, has plenty of ports and various port types. Plus it came with great software! The whole bonus package for an incredible price!

Defective
Not only is it not a touchscreen, after a couple months, would not recognize password, pin, or thumb print. Took to get that fixed & now a week later will not display apps or connect to internet. Don’t waste your money!!

Must be used in a well lighted space as keys are difficult to read otherwise.
The computer is used for general personal work. It appears to be well made, powerful, great display and has a poorly designed keyboard as mentioned above. I was very impressed with the cost, packaging and delivery. The HP labeled box was contained in a plain over box that doesn't identify the contents.
