It does the job (For GBC)
Works just like the worm light I remember that I used to have lol. My only real complaint would be the see-thru top on it, it allows the LED light to shine right in your eyes. I took a cue from another reviewer on this sell listing and took a Sharpie to the top of it and colored it all in. It still lets some light through but it's way less harsh now. As for durability, it seems fairly durable. I wouldn't slam it against the ground, throw it across the house, or anything crazy like that though.Another thing to note is that this only seems to work properly on a Gameboy Color. Gameboy Pocket seems to be a bit underpowered for it and shuts off shortly after boot with the light plugged in (yes, I had fresh batteries in).Would be nice if the seller offered color selection. As of this writing you just get a color at random.

Really fun for old Gameboys
I got these for my old gameboys to play at night (because the screens do not have backlights on their older versions and only work in direct light) so these were perfect for playing at night. They’re cheap too which is nice. Not durable for a long time, they got flimsy if you moved them around a lot but otherwise I really think they’re good for what I needed.

Works as promised
This worked for my GBC out of the box. Is it perfect to see the screen 100% fully--no. BUT, it makes a huge difference when playing in bad lighting. It fit in the port for my GBC--unlike what others are saying. It is delicate to move around, so be careful adjusting. Overall, its a 8 out of 10. Cant beat $14 to enjoy my GBC!

Bright but useless
Light is bright but where the connecter meets the spiral part is weak and flimsy. Too flimsy to stand up and stay where it is needed to see the screen. Save your money, useless product

Review
It works. Not as great as I'd hoped it to be. Light reflects from screen so have to play in an angle.

Fits an old time gameboy perfectly
I bought my grandson an old gameboy. I forgot that there is no backlighting so I ordered this for him and he can play his games whatever the lighting is in the room. Perfect. Just clicks in the side panel.

Does the job
It actually fit my gameboy color. I had ordered from another vendor one of these lights that was advertised for a GBC, but it did not fit. Happy with my purchase.
