Does not fit the Barista Pro (BES878) but was able to make it work with slight modification.First tried to file down tabs on the inside plastic piece from the stock knob so that it would wedge itself into the cavity of the lever. Worked pretty well but when reinstalling found the 'tabs' I filed didn't stick out far enough to catch the new handle. So I took things back apart, filed down some nuts and wedged those into place then used screws to extend the length. If that didn't make sense, the pictures should tell the story. I may get my friend to tack weld the nuts in place down the road but for the time being they seem pretty secure the way they are.Happy I could make this work because this handle looks better than the other (very limited) options I've come across for the pro. Has a nice weight to it and doesn't feel like it's putting too much pressure on the inside plastic pieces.

I love the handle!
I just love the handle. I think it's a must have accessory for the machine.At first I was worried that color will not match the machine, but I was wrong. It looks great.It was very easy to install without voiding the warranty and disassembling the machine.

Not so good
Bought this for my breville barista express 870xl. While it fits the knob, the screw doesn’t hold it tight and comes right off.

Nice lever for espresso machine.
Breville should already have made the espresso machine with a steam lever. Since they did not, this is a great accessory. Does the job!

Essential accessory for your Breville
Matte silver was a nice match for my BES870XL. Easy to install and makes frothing so much easier. Will work itself loose eventually and will need to retighten the grub screw, which is likely to be an issue with any of the handles that fit over the existing knob due to the shape of the knob itself.

It wont stay in place, you can barely make it fit but it looks bad and misplaced, and will fall off after a few uses. Do not buy
