GRAYSTON Rubber bump stop - 39-51mm - single piece

I have used these for several decades of caravan towing. A pair of these are fully recommended if you are towing any significant load such as a caravan. They provide a more stable rear suspension without affecting ride quality even when not towing. In my experience they also seem to protect the life of the shock absorbers.I can definitely recommend these for any towing vehicle or for any vehicle on which the rear suspension is a bit soft.

Working brilliantly in my Volvo S80

Delivery and product were fine but they weren't as easy to fit to my 2006 Toyota Previa as I'd hoped. I followed the instructions but in the end I had to get a real mechanic to do it. That said, the clearance of the wheel arches was maintained near normal even with two large adults in the two rear seats.

My 02 Volvo V70 D5 has plenty of power for towing but was wallowing under heavy load conditions. Installing Grayston spring assisters in the rear coil spring has improved the towing stability with no apparent impact on solo performance or comfort. Seems to be a low cost alternative to uprated springs or self leveling gas struts.
