Big hit all around. Bought this for my grandson who is 4 and my 15 year old son talked his grandma into getting him one. The quality is nice and image is good, the slides it comes with were cool and fun. Even the adults enjoyed taking turns. Really easy for the toddler to use once explained and given a few tries.

Updated review: company shipped a free replacement microscope that did not have the charging issues. My daughter is thrilled to have one that works and plays with it every day. I've even had fun with it, looking at common objects and learning what they look like up close. It's very easy to use and my 5 year old has no problems focusing it. This is one of the best $30 purchases I remember making. Great customer service helps a lot too. --------- Old review: We had a ton of fun with this at first. But then when we went to charge it, it wouldn't charge. We tried the included usb-c cable, other cables, other outlets, etc. Nothing. Really disappointing because this was a lot of fun but only got a couple days use before it became useless.

We went to go charge it for the second time, and it will not charge. Was cool while it worked.

I gave this as a gift to my 10 year old daughter. Out of all the things she got Christmas day she carried this thing around everywhere. It magnifies so well, she was checking everything out with it. It's the perfect size to fit in her hand. And it works so well, Super neat that it let's you take pictures of things you zoom in on.

Purchased for my 7 year old last Christmas and would purchase again. The zoom is amazing!
