Not for chlorinated water
these are great filters to remove sediment from well water, but these won't remove the chlorine taste or smell from city tap water (I tried!).I'm not complaining, as these filters are not made for removing chlorine taste and smell - but I didn't know that. I ordered some charcoal filters, and it solved the problem.I took these filters to our camp, which has a well, and it solved the problem of sediment in the water. So, these work well for what they were designed for.
