Great for exercise with bad knees
Last December, I twisted my knee. Got so bad I couldn't walk. Then got crutches. My knee's been healing on it's own but I really, really needed some PT. The thing is, I'm short on time and money. Hence why I bought this YOSUDA Recumbent Exercise Bike. I'm only 42, so it's difficult for me to walk around with a cane because I feel like I shouldn't need it.Assembly: I love puzzles, so this was pretty easy for me. There was only one part where we needed to look up the YouTube video, which was incredibly helpful. Only needed to watch 3 seconds of it. Took us a couple of hours because my 8 yr old son helped my husband put everything together while I talked them through it and showed them the pictures as we went. But again, I love puzzles and I find the picture directions pretty easy to follow. I see in other comments this isn't the case. If you struggle with stuff like this, maybe invite someone over who's good at this sort of thing. Oh, and all you need are the two tools that come with it.Noise Level: It's pretty quite. I sit and watch anime with my kids while I workout. I've set my average time for around 30 minutes. I'm a bit out of shape, so the one day my allergies were bad and I was tired, I only used it for 20 minutes.Maneuverability: It's pretty easy to move. Has built-in wheels so you can lift the back and push it where you need to. My 8 yr old will get it out for me and put it away because he thinks it's fun.How well it works: First of all, it came with everything needed, including a few little extras for nuts and bolts. Getting the seat in place is a cinch--easy. I have a specific distance I prefer it, and my youngest moves it all the way up. I know this isn't intended for kids, but this also shows that it's really easy to use and set up how you want it. I've used it for about a week. People are saying that I've lost weight. Don't know if I have, but I can get up and move around so much better now. This is easy on my knees and even helps my once injured knee feel so much better. I've even been able to walk around without the need of my cane.If you have bad knees or ankles, this is a great bike to have in the home. It's really helped me, and in such a short time. I'll be using it 6 days a week for probably the rest of my life. It's such a great bike at a great value. I don't need bells and whistles. And there's a groove on top of the monitor where I put the iPad to check on messages, too. Very great machine.

Best bike I’ve ever used! Don’t wait & just get it!
I’m 5’11” and have really long legs so I needed something with the ease of using the handle to move the seat back and forth. It’s perfect! The size is amazing and doesn’t take up a lot of room. We have it in our living room. Very sturdy, the assembly was a breeze and took less than 20 minutes to put together. Very comfortable, little to no noise and it was a great price when I bought it so absolutely worth it!

Nice for the price
I bought this for knee rehab. For me, the price was right. The bike is very quiet, easy to assemble and is perfect for my needs. The seat is a nice size but is like sitting on a brick. Needs more padding. I can make a cover for it, so it isn't an issue for me but wanted to point it out. The display is easy to read. Overall, I am very happy with the bike.

My experience assembling it
I'm writing this review as it relates to shipment, packaging and assembly; not use. Before I decided on this make/model, I read through numerous reviews of both this make/model and one from a competitor. I hope my experience is helpful to you.Bike was delivered and the box it shipped in was not damaged except for a small piece (couldn't tell you which part it was from) that was protruding through the cardboard. The box dimensions were 46" x 10" x 21" and it weighed about 70 pounds. One of the reviews I read said there was no way the bike could be repackaged for return, if need be. I can say now that that statement is 100% accurate. Still, being cautious, I removed the contents, paying attention not to damage the styrofoam, and making note of which parts went where, just in case I had to send it back. If you're like me and think you could re-pack it for return, you're sadly mistaken. There's just no way that'll work out. Once I had everything unpacked, I double checked that all parts were present and accounted for, and also that no parts appeared to be damaged. Everything was fine, so on to assembly I went.Another review I had read recommended watching the YouTube video demonstrating assembly. I couldn't agree more. In fact, I set up a laptop, got the YouTube video loaded, and referred to the video numerous times during the assembly process. In my opinion, having both the video and the paper manual were essential. For example, there were parts of the video where you could easily see the correct orientation of the part to be attached - you wouldn't see that nuanced detail in the paper manual. On the othr hand, the paper manual has the exact hardware (e.g., nuts, bolts, washers, etc) you're supposed to use - there's no mention of any of that in the video. So again, in my opinion, you need both the video and the manual. Being able to replay certain sections of the video helped a lot.Another review I had read stated that all the tools necessary to assemble the bike were supplied. I can attest to this. Besides a metric allen wrench, there's a nifty little multi-purpose tool that acts as both a screwdriver and a multi-sized wrench (again, metric). I did 100% of the assembly with the 2 tools supplied. There's one step that's only slightly tricky, which is where you connect the cable that controls tension control (step 2 on page 9 of the manual). Being able to watch that part on the video was truly helpful. You could potentially figure that part out without the video if you were mechnically gifted, but for the rest of us, watching the video is key.I'm not the fastest person at assembly - I'm more concerned about doing it right than fast, and I tend to be slow and methodical. From the time I began assembly, it took me just under 2 hours to finish. All in all, my experience with assembly was a good one. Yosuda definitely put a lot of thought into making assembly a reasonable task for the average person. And, the way I see it, if they put this kind of thought into packaging/assembly, there's a good chance they put that much thought into use and operation. That's my hope anyway.Perhaps most importantly, my wife likes the bike, or at least so far.I'll follow up at a later date when the bike has been used for a while.Hope that helps.

I love my bike.
I enjoy it and it does what it is suppose to do. You getting what you paid. It has a little cheap feel to me but it works good. The small screen works great. Easy to put together my daughter who is 18 did it in like 45 mins if that.

Initial impressions
I have been exercising on a recumbent exercise bike regularly for over 4 years. Ordered this unit based on reviews and the description that said it would accommodate up to 350 lbs and a height of 6 feet 5 inches. I can’t speak to the weight limit but the seat at its rearmost limit will be good for someone up to only about 6 feet tall. I am 6 feet 3 inches and my knees are significantly bent when seated. Assembly wasn’t too bad except for the fact that the numbers listed on the parts enclosed bear no resemblance to the part numbers listed in the assembly manual. The video was somewhat helpful but this was still annoying. Build seems to be ok. Tension adjustment is manual rather than electronic. Electronics are primitive and pretty basic. Time will tell as to durability. Ok but somewhat disappointing based on description
