Difficult to see against light background
Bought as style matched Galileo thermometer, however despite weather changing from v hot in 30's to stormy wet and windy nothing changes! Just clear water above white crystals in base. Might as well buy a snowglobe you can shake! Even if it did work would be difficult to see especially if against light background. Too much hassle to return given cost of item.

It takes time to work
This storm glass didn't do anything for the first 6 months but now it's settled and working OK. I'm getting big crystals growing from the base and small ones at the top in the right pressure conditions. Worth the wait. Would be better with clear English instructions.
