Comfort Redefined: A True Game-Changer
I’ve been wearing these for the past two days, and I’m amazed—absolutely no pain at all! I usually don’t use additional support and have always experienced some discomfort, but this time, nothing. If you wear them correctly and pair them with proper ski socks that have good padding, you’ll be perfectly comfortable. Truly a game-changer!

Durable shin protectors for skiing (or other activities)
For anybody that has gone skiing and not had perfectly fitting boots you will have experienced some shin pain or other as unless you are a regular skier then the additional pressure caused by the large ski boots, and their large tongues, does cause discomfort/pressure in areas that are not used to it. In the worst cases blisters form and it stops you skiing 9after forking out a lot of money to do so).Step in these shin protectors from Shin-eeze. They are a simple concept to just slip inside your socks and protect you in the area needed most. They are universal size, so should fir almost everybody that could need them from youngsters up as they simply bend and shape to the shin they are moulded to.There is a little imperfection in bending where the creases between columns of protective squares causes pinch points but as the material is relatively soft and your shin is protected by a layer of material then this is OK.Having suffered with shin problems on my very first ski trip using cheap ski boots I wish I'd had these then. The work well (as an infrequent skier). If you have light, comfortable ski socks then you will likely get away with not needing this but cheap boots that are not quite fitted brilliantly will likely see you benefit from them.Given the materials used and the lack of sophistication it does seem rather expensive for what it is but they are durable and hold in place relatively well - unless your socks are too loose.Overall 4 stars from me.

Doesn't work and caused shin blisters
Bought these for my partner who sometimes gets slight shin pain. After the first day of using these she has huge blisters on both shins that were where the gaps between the pads were and around the edge of the pads. The pads have been the cause of the blisters. Not only a waste of money but now we have blisters that need careful treatment and could have to stop skiing.

Too stiff for my sensitive shins

Very Good!
Suffered badly last year with chafing on my left shin from the inside of the boot. Very painful for the last few days of skiing! No problem this year after using Shin-eeze pads. They certainly worked for me!

Should work fine
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine program; however, this in no way influences my review, all items I request are products that I have a use for or will use and the reviews I then submit are intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers. We have just come back from La Rosierre in France and for some reason, the second time of using my wifes boots, she was getting blisters on her shins ansd we cant work out why as we went for a bespoke boot fitting and we seen these whilst on holiday. We are unable to test them out properly but on wearing them with her boots, its hopeful that next year when wwe go away, this will alleviate any problem that may come.

Pretty useless, made things worse!
I thought these would be amazing but all they did was make my shins more sore. Like conventional shin pads do, they made my legs sweaty which then actually irritated my skin. Binned them after 1 day of use, massive waste of money! I’ll probably try a gel alternative for my next trip.

Saved my shins!
Last year I went on my first ski holiday and suffered from really bad shin bang which put a dampener on the holiday for me. Took these with me this year and used the rental boots from the same company, we’re almost at the end of the week and my shins are completely fine! So worth it, highly recommend
