I have used many different gray coverage products over the past couple of years. The eSalon Conceal and Cover Root Touch Up powder works great. I use this daily when I have grow out and in between colors. The brush applicator is easy to use and allow me to touch up grays around the face line without leaving color on my skin. The brush has two sizes the larger brush is perfect for my part line and the smaller side I use for my eyebrows. I would definitely recommend this product.

The powder goes on smoothly with the provided brush. It is not heavy yet offers great coverage for my grays in between full color applications. Also, when I wear my hair in a ponytail, I’ve been using it to cover thinning areas around the hairline so it looks fuller - great hair hack!! Highly recommend.

I was Very anxious to “try” eSalon’s product. I absolutely LOVE(!) these hair powders (for those days of hair growth before you have time to get your hair done; especially with brown hair when even just a smidge of root gray is like a beacon on your head!!lol!). I have tried several different brands, frm drugstore to salon brands; so I really wanted to compare.The pluses: This powder, like the others, has nice root coverage. It’s very easy to apply with the included brush and mirror (so you can see those back of head roots). It also has decent staying power (as do the others). It has a slightly bigger brush on one end than the others do, but I tend to use the smaller brush on the other end (which they all have). I do have to say, I prefer this “darker” brown color to the lighter “standard browns” the others offer. I think ‘darker’ tends to make your roots “disappear” better, which is a plus.That said, I do have more complaints with this one:1. Size - I was shocked at how big this box is! Hands down MUCH bigger than the others.2. For the price, I’m surprised that it comes in a paperboard holder; maybe more environmentally friendly (but I still prefer the “smaller” hard plastic cases that snap together ‘better’. Much easier to take with you when needed!).3. This product is more “powdery” than the others. It seems to break down faster with the brush, and leave a mess behind. Just picking unit up to look at it again left brown powdery marks on my hands (ew!). Some reviewers complained theirs arrived broken, and [tho mine arrived just fine!] I could see how that could happen easily with this one. I wld not recc’d carrying this one around w/you.4. Price (I think it’s a bit high for what it is). The cheaper alternatives are equally competitive (AND have more pluses).However, this is NOT a terrible product. Overall, I think that ALLL the hair “powder” concealers work GREAT (SOO much better & more natural looking than any sticky liquid concealers). And I find they hold up in day-to-day wearing for several days (or longer!). IF you haven’t tried them—you MUST!This product IS on the higher end of price, but, if you are more conservative with it and don’t waste product, Prefer a darker root, and don’t plan to carry it around anywhere, this is just fine for your needs. It also has a bigger mirror (but I didn’t find bigger “more neccessary”). Give it a go!

Very brittle. Broke after one use.

Where do I start? First, the coloring powder block was broken when I received it, so there was powder all over the inside and outside of the box, and on my hands after I opened it. I can let that pass because perhaps it was poor handling. But I also found that it took a lot of powder to cover the grey, and even with a lot, it wasn't 100% coverage. And it made my hair feel really thick and gloppy. When I ran my fingers through my hair, the black tint wiped off onto my fingers. You can see what a quick tissue swipe along my temple did. I was worried to hug anyone or put my head on my pillow because I was so sure I'd leave stains everywhere, so I just washed it out.

This product has a rich color pay off and is such a soft texture. I got this for my mom as a gift and it perfectly matches her hair color when she’s in between color applications. Would totally buy again!

Application and blending are 100% ! Amazing staying power. LOVE this product!

I had my hair died for many years until I decided I didn't want to do it anymore. I'd thought there ought to be a mascara type method to hide the grey and this is it! I'm lucky that my hair isn't completely grey and this stuff provides enough cover for me. I got a wrong colour first that was too light but got a dark auburn and it is great.

Better ones available

This suits my hair colour perfectly, it’s difficult to find touch-up for red hair. My hair is a golden shade and this is the first time I’ve ever found a good match for my hair. I’m very happy, I will be buying this again!
