Rokinon AF 14mm F2.8 Weather Sealed Auto Focus Wide Angle Lens for Canon EF, Black (IO14AF-C)

Love the lens so far, its compact and the weight is good, Focusing is fast and accurate and very quiet. colors are warm. As you can see from the pictures it works well at closeup too, I wish it had a rear filter mount like the RF version but thats just me.

This lens has satisfied everything I have needed it for. Great focus! Super wide! Everything I shoot with it looks incredible.

Great Lens for the price. Perfect for wide-angle and low lighting shots. I found this lens Autofocus a little slow but once adjusted it can take incredible pictures. The lens itself has a good solid feel and a built-in hood. It's a definite keeper.

The media could not be loaded.  So far I have used it for events and real estate and I like it. Sharp and budget friendly.

I bought this lens for vlogging on a camera with APS-C size sensor (Canon 80D). The equivalent focal length is 22mm which is just right. The auto focus is fast, although you might pick up some motor sound every now and then. The weather sealing offers great peace of mind and the f2.8 aperture makes it very usable in low light conditions.If you have an APS-C camera, I claim this is the ultimate vlogging lens.(also amazing for architecture and landscapes, of course)

I have owned Rokinon 14mm without AF and I always thought it would be great to have AF. So finally I decided to get one and I just love it. Tacky sharp pictures, fast focus and a wide aperture. Everything that I could ask for. Just wish they didn't have this infinity focus ring with no guide for manual focus. But overall, very pleased with the purchase.

Mostly happy so far. Biggest con was that the lens did not work with my canon 60D's Automatic AF Point Selection mode (worked with Manual AF Point Selection only). I did not purchase the lens station to update the lens.The lens worked with all of the auto focus modes I tried on my 7D Mii.There's also no infinite focus indicator on the len's manual focus ring.

Hay que reconocer que la calidad de construccion de este objetivo es muy buena, se siente bien al tacto y se nota muy duradero. El unico inconveniente es que si lo piensas utilizar en modo enfoque manual, no trae alguna guía de referencia para saber a que distancia se encuentra dicho enfoque. Además, no puedes colocarle filtros nd por delante a menos que cuentes con una caja mate, aunque este objetivo esta pensado para hacer fotografía mas que video. Al probar mi lente en una canon 6d clásica, detectamos que el enfoque, se iba unos pasos atrás de lo que enfocabas, y después de investigar un poco, resulta que tuvimos que adquirir una estacion samyang (gasto extra no contemplado) para ajustarle los valores de enfoque ya que el lente vino con un ajuste de +2, y no en 0 como uno esperaría, al final, el ajuste final se quedó en -2, logrando ya el enfoque optimo. Es de relevancia mencionarlo porque uno esperaría ya tener su lente y comenzar a sacarle provecho, pero hay que tener en cuenta que puede requerir un ajuste en los valores del enfoque que solo lo logras adquiriendo un aditamento un poco difícil de conseguir. Fuera de esos detalles, para el uso que realmense se adquirió el 14 mm (fotografia social) es un excelente objetivo, nitido en 2.8 en el centro (en las esquinas no tanto, pero es algo que vas a encontrar en casi todos los objetivos de esa distancia focal) y aumentando conforme cierras el lente. El viñeteo igual es muy normal es este tipo de distancias focales, sin embargo, con la ayuda de algun software se puede corregir muy bien. El punto fuerte considero esta en los colores (ligeramente calidos) y en el excelente contraste que tiene por default la imagen. La verdad, apenas estoy sacandole provecho, pero estoy seguro que será uno de los lentes que me dará unos resultados maravillosos. Vale totalmente la pena la inversión.
