This product is very easy to use.. it heats up quickly and also cools quickly.You can adjust where the spool comes out and touches the hot surface n it depends on what you're soildering as well.You manually squeeze the trigger to how much an how fast you want the spool to come out and its perfect for those one-handed operations.My spook finished quickly because i did a lot of soldering..lol.... it was just too easy to use.... just wentto local hardware n got a new spool and it was easy to set up. i have used it quite a lot without using the trigger and even then, it work quite well.. the tip cleans easy as well.it does have a cheap plastic feel to it but It is worth the money n as with most things, once u care it, it stays in good condition. i would def buy again.The accessories now.... tthe suction is very very useful! very happy it came with one and the two clippers it came with.. extremely useful as well..this is most def not a bad purchase at all.

The iron gets nice and hot, reasonably quickly, but the mechanism for feeding the solder through is Mickey Mouse and it jams more than it feeds. Then if you do position the solder holder right and get it to (temporarily) feed through, it isn't clear how to get the solder onto the thing you are soldering.A very good idea, very poorly executed.

I’m a total amateur at soldering but I found this tool to be very easy to use. Makes neat and strong solder joints. Would be nice to have a nice carry case.

Perfect for my son who is 12 and huge into fixing anything. Makes me feel more comfortable having him use this style over the others.

I started using it after 30 days. It did not heat or take wire correctly. Trying to clear the inside is hard. I can tell it won't be worth the effort since it won't even heat

Works good

This is a very useful tool. One never has enough hands and finders to hold the board, the component, the solder and the iron. This combines the iron with the solder via a trigger-fed spool - right to the hot tip of the iron. Dandy.

It helps give you an extra hand when soldering, wish it was a bit better quality/rugged, but for the price I guess you can’t ask for to much. A little intermittent with the feed is my negative on it. I have used it again with wiring on a trailer I built, I opened up the end where the soldering wire feeds out onto the hot needle and it worked a lot better, flowing out more steady, big improvement. This iron does get hot fast which is a positive I also forgot to mention. Would recommend it
