This is the second one of this brand of printed place mats I have bought and this one, like the first one, does not really look like the picture. The picture in the listing is some stylized rendering but NOT a photo of what you will get. On the actual place mats, the corners are not rounded, and the entire image is not on the place mat (edges are cropped) and most importantly, the aspect ratio seems off. It makes the picture look out of sorts, like it has been compressed vertically a little bit. It is not attractive at all. Other than the looks, I think the place mats are just fine for using on the table. I don't know about the heat resistance or ease of cleaning, because I did not use them.

I ordered these placemats because they were pretty. They are! However, I am returning them because they are very thin, almost see through. Several of them were also not cut quite right, the edges were crooked. And they were only printed on one side. I was disappointed.

I used them for a Fall Birthday celebration yesterday and they looked lovely. I was hesitant about ordering as I read a negative review stating they fell apart after washing. I took a chance and was glad I did as I had the opposite result. When I received them they did have a slight odd odor. I washed them in cold water on delicate and air dried and they were perfect. I’ve already washed them after they were used and they look brand new. The chocolate stains from the three little monsters even came out with a little bit of Shout. Looking forward to using them again.

The print of these place mats is gorgeous, however, the material is some sort of EXTREMELY THIN, polyester something I have not seen before. Not cotton, not even like dollar store place mats, weird, really. Not silky, just odd. They'll work until I can find something with a backing that will hold up better to hot things on the table. THESE WILL NOT PROTECT YOUR TABLE FROM HOT CUPS, PLATES, ETC!!! PAPER THIN! These are pretty, that's it. Very disappointing considering the price. It looks like someone printed them off of a computer (screen print) onto some REALLY cheap material.

These mats have a good look but they are cloth. With my family, we need a corked back to stand up to spills.

When I saw these in the plastic, I gasped! It looked bad all squished up! I thought I would have to do a return....HOWEVER, upon taking them out I was shocked! These placemats are gorgeous! The material is beautiful. I quickly washed them in the machine on gentle. I put them in a cool dryer for 5 minutes. They came out beautiful. And, they look so gorgeous on my natural stone table! I will get others in a different pattern!

I know even after reading the reviews l should probably wait & see about the washing ! They are lovely and l love the color and design ! I have a big table of wood so these are just lovely. For safety sake l will rinse in the sink, will use less frequent. ❤️ Update !!!!These place mats l’m still not sure are made of cloth ? And are way too big for a large &slip around. I thought they were too pretty to give away, so l found a non slip material and glued them to the bottom, perfect 🙋‍♀️ Would not buy again😤

Love the color, the design on the material, exactly as seen in the picture. But these are not place mats, they are just swatches of materials that are hemmed on four sides. You can go to a material goods store, buy some material, cut it into four equal size pieces and hem them, all for a fraction of the price. Place mats should not only look attractive on your table, but they should be protecting your table from possible heat marks or liquid stains. These were a bad buy and a waste of my money.
