This is a fantastic and stylish worktop saver. Have just replaced all my work tops and saw this. Was worried about marking my new white surfaces but with this saver no problem so much so have ordered another for the side of my hob.

Great product, covers an unsightly burn on an otherwise perfect worktop, looks like it is part of the rest of the stainless steel stuff in the kitchen, rather than something that is there to cover a burn! Stays in place, polishes up beautifully, buy one even if you don't need it.

This is a brilliant piece of kit. It sits on your worktop and keeps everything clean and sparkling. Very easy to wash and looks good too. You can put hot stuff on on it; cut and chop on it, in fact anything and everything. And your worktops are not being battered and nicked. They look as good as new, which in fact they are because of this item. Go on, treat yourself.

They fit the rounded edge of our worktops well and look very smart, but they do mark. Sliding a saucepan on them has left blemishes that will not remove. I have given a high rating as they are easy to wipe, hygienic and the marks only show close up.

It's lovely, until you actually look at it! Don't touch it ever! Try to avoid eye contact as well. Fingerprints, scratch marks, mysterious greasy marks etc.I recommend buying this to cover up all the things I've just mentioned! Unless you're a Stepford Wife. In which case, you probably won't need it.

I am really impressed with this product. Like others said, shipping from the UK was amazing. It arrived only 2 days later than the other part of the same order coming from the States. The size is great and I am happy with the purchase every time I use it. Clean up is easy, and I'm not worried about gunk in ridges and creases, like I always have been with wood and plastic. I would buy this again, but I shouldn't have to.

Wood & Bamboo - I tried both. Both of them got moldy after 6 months or so. I knew that I wasn't supposed to wash it under running water, but what do you do after cutting a banana? You are supposed to sprinkle lots of salt, scrub it with wet sponge and just towel dry it... I thought this was a little disgusting... I can't rinse the board after touching it with a sponge??? So I washed it every time, air dried it because I got too lazy in the first trimester, and it got moldy... I used my cutting board probably 10 times a day for my 3 little children, a husband and myself. Wood and Bamboo weren't for me.Glass - They are textured not to make it slippery, so you can't chop vegetables fast. You have to slide your knife back and forth to cut the last part. It dulls your knife very fast. You are only supposed to use glass for cheese, bread, and other soft food. Also, it's very noisy, so it wasn't for me with a family.Plastic - I guess Japan sells anti-bacterial plastic cutting board, but if you leave it dirty, of course, germs will grow on it. It gets deep scratches too, so you have to bleach it here and there just like any other plastic.So after trying several cutting boards, I was frustrated - nothing seemed perfect - until my smart husband suggested, "What about stainless?"I had never seen one at stores, but sure enough, Amazon had this one - the only one!I ordered it and it came super fast - Who said this was coming from UK? It came faster than any other!It fit well on my counter top, and the feel is perfect. I can chop vegetables fast and perfect without loud noises. It's light, so it's easy to maneuver around the kitchen. Everything, soap and food, washes right off. The knife makes thin scratches on it, so it's not as hard as glass. My knife stays sharp for a long time. It doesn't stay over the sink nicely where I would prefer cooking, but because of other facts, I love this worktop saver. I am very happy.

The product is really useful and looks cool. It is also easy to clean and move around in the kitchen.

I'm very happy with my purchase. It looks exactly as described and as it appears in photo. It's just the right thickness, reasonably priced and looks nice on my counter top.
