The Sisterhood

True to form
I always enjoy Emily Barr's books. They are what could be described as chick-lit with sinister overtones.Whilst I found that this book was rather predictable, I the pace of it and the way it is divided into sections of either Liz's story or Helen's story - with the occasional bit about `Mary' - made it quite compelling and I found I had to keep picking it up to find out what would happen next.My only slight criticism is that I felt the prologue was a bit of a giveaway as to what was coming!

A rather odd read!
Whilst I liked the authors writing style, she was very easy to read and follow, I found this book very far fetched. I’d probably say 3.5 to be fair.

Great read
I really enjoy books by Emily Barr and couldn't wait to read this one. I found this a bit far fetched and not quite as gripping as her other titles, but still an enjoyable read, but perhaps not the one to try 1st if need read any of her other books.

Gripping!
I have enjoyed all Emily Barr's books but this one is her best. I read it as fast as I could and couldn't put it down. There are two twists towards the end that I didn't see coming at all, and I would definitely recommend this!
