Stylish and affordable
A stylish coffee percolator with a very recognisable “Alessi” look. This is my second purchase of this item, it was such a success I’m buying it as a Christmas gift. I’d say it was mid range price wise, and if you want a stylish look for your kitchen this is for you. It’s easy to clean, well made and very good quality. I’d recommend it.

Super performance, coffee, looks and quality.
Great little machine. Yes it is beautifully designed and manufactured, it also makes an excellent coffee, I have tried a couple of brands and grinds both good, am going to mainly stick with Illy with this as Illy helped design the working functionality of it. Simplicity itself to use and provides enough for one decent cup or two double espresso size amounts of coffee.(I have the medium size machine). Far simpler to use than the more traditional Bialetti etc models. Not really an espresso as we understand it nowadays, strong clean pure taste. I use mine in my small vw camper on the gas burners, that's why I bought it, so I can always have a reliable espresso type coffee anywhere. I have an induction cooker at home on which these don't work, have also used it on a trivet on my wood burner lid which worked well. My only slight problem area when using it is if I want to make another pretty quickly it remains very hot and it's difficult to extract the coffee grinds holder from its slot to refill it as it's hot and a tight fit, so burned fingers a couple of times but have devised a system to minimise that. I find the Bialetti milk frother and Pulcina keep me happily supplied with Macchiato ish or flat white ish great coffee. And again, it looks great and draws comment.

It's an Alessi of course it's great.
I'm something of a collector of coffee stuff. Fully down the specialty coffee rabbit hole. In my experience, Alessi moka pots are always beautifully designed with great build quality. This is no different. It is heavy for its size. The thickness and weight of the milled aluminium body is noticeable as soon as you pick it up. It makes great coffee (rich, full bodied, no metallic aftertaste as with some cheaper moka pots) and brings serious 1950s art-deco vibes to your kitchen. What more could you want?

Works well and it looks beautiful
I love it. It is not only beautiful but is also practical for use. It makes a good cuppa coffee although I like it for it looks even more. For regular cuppa I use an espresso machine and a grinder.

Very expensive, but a statement peice
This thing is seriously impressive to look at and hold, beautiful design and solid materials gives it an excellent look and feel. Makes ample amounts of silky smooth espresso in a decent amount of time. It could be cheaper but you pay for quality

Handle came off due to poor manufacturing quality & Amazon's return window is too short.
I have been a fan of Alessi and its designers for years. I liked this coffee maker when I started using it - it makes great coffee - but after a couple of months of use the handle came off whilst pouring and unfortunately, this was a couple of weeks after Amazon closed the return window. I tried to contact Alessi directly but have had no response and now I am left with a relatively expensive stove pot that I don't know how to exchange/return. I don't recommend using Amazon for such purchases as a result. If this had been bought from John Lewis they would have taken it back without any hesitation.

Barista quality coffee at home
Makes a really delicious espresso, no exaggeration. Very impressed. A shame that Amazon’s sticker ruined the lovely box it comes in.

Wunderbarer stilvoller Espressokocher, würde ihn immer wider kaufen.

Not only is this beautiful, but it's well made. The aluminum feels solid and smooth, none of that fingernails on a chalkboard when screwing it on like with cheaper pots. No question whether or not it's screwed together properly. Shipping took much longer than I would have liked since I was completely without a coffee maker. I ended up getting a mini french press to hold me over. This makes a lovely cup of espresso and is easy to use. I wish I could afford a larger capacity, but the 3 cup is perfect for ONE american size cortado which is all I need.
