MARVEL's Black Panther: Meet Black Panther: Level 2 (Passport to Reading) Paperback – January 16, 2018

This is a nice book, it has 32, color pages. It lined up nicely with the movie as well. This was the second book that my son has ever been excited about to receive. That's saying a lot for my son. It is nice that I was able to offer him something that he can relate to. A Super Hero that looks like him. It was a pleasure buying this for him and I look forward to adding to the collection.

I was kind of disappointed in how little this book told black panthers story. It’s only a few pages and doesn’t go into details. My daughter is only a few months though so she likes it and that’s all that really matters.

I got this book for my nephew who is struggling to read. He thinks that he is too grown up to read other I can Read books. But with this one he won't put it down.

A gift for my 10 year old grandson. He loved the books! A perfect present as he had seen the movie with his Dad. Good artwork and easy to read! Also bought the coloring book! Pages are heavy weight for felt tipped pens. Won't bleed through!

Pros:-introduces the characters from the movie-images include T'Challa without his mask-contains tier 2 vocabulary-easy reading level, but the story engages some more advanced readers-more varied sentence structure than the level 1 books with pictures depicting actions from the movie-cliffhanger ending lets kids use their imaginations about what happens next, or if they have seen the movie, gives opportunities for them to tell part of the storyCons:-Nakia is depicted wearing red. In the movie she usually wears green. A lot of the kids I work with refer to the characters by their clothing colors and I had been hoping the book would help them learn their names.-the book refers to Okoye as a "member" of T'Challa's guard. She's actually the head of the guard in the movie.-the page describing the beginning scene from the movie where T'Challa "freezes" says "his plans always work" with no credit to Okoye or Nakia. I'm not a fan of exaggerating T'Challa's successes while downplaying the contributions of the women.Overall, I like this book for reading with young superhero fans.

I liked the reading level for a eight year old boy.

My son needed a Black Panther bood to go with his Black Panther costume for his storybook parade at school. I was able download this directly to his kindle on the way to school!

Good reading for grandson.
