The magic coffee pot!
It makes great coffee and once the plunger is depressed, the coffee does not continue to brew. The grounds do not escape when the coffee is poured and we have found a full pot of coffee stays hot for up to an hour and a warm, drinkable cup of coffee is still available up to two hours after brewing with no change of taste. The pot makes three mugs full.It can be washed in the dishwasher. It is stylish and elegant and although made of metal, the outside does not get hot.It is a magic coffee pot and I highly recommend it.

Sturdy and functional
Insulates well, good capacity, plunge is strong, less fiddly to clean than smaller ones. But quite large!Visually it's quite nice, though resembles a canteen item given it is big and stainless steel.

Great Press, but hard to clean screen
This is a great press! Holds a great deal of coffee and keeps coffee warm for a short while, however, the cleaning is a challenge in that I cannot disassemble the part that you press down that contains the screen. It doesn't seem to come apart, so I have to diligently shoot water and soap into it as best as I can in order to get the grounds out of it. That's the only down-side, but otherwise a good product.

Big, ideal for a heavy coffee drinking household
We needed a large coffee pot and this is good. It looks smart on the counter and easy to clean. My only criticism is that we can't submerge the lid into water for washing as it fills with water and then is hard to drain.

Good sizeable cafetiere.
Large jug which was exactly as required. Seems well made. I agree with a previous comment that an indicator on the lid would be helpful. Other than that happy with this purchase.

Looks good and does the job
Bought the 1.5 Lt. It is easy to use and the plunger unscrews for easy cleaning. We have had no trouble with bits of coffee floating passed the fine mesh on the plunger so we can drink to the last drop. It keeps the coffee lovely and hot a bit like a thermos flask. We have had 5 large mugs from one brew of coffee, as we do not bother with little cups. Looks very smart, is not heavy and is easy to pour. Would buy again and recommentd

Poor Build Quality
Given that this is made entirely out of metal it should be easy to make something durable. Especially for the price. This French press lasted a grand total of 3 uses before a small defect in the manufacturing created a pin hole gap between the base and the wall of the body. A gap that expands when hot and pushes air (noisily) out of the insulation gap between the inner and outer walls. Given two stars as it's still usable as long as you don't mind being burbled at for 30 minutes.

Does the job but a couple of flaws.!
Looks good and keeps coffee hot after brewing. But the spout is far too small for easy pouring - I nearly always get a drip or two. Surely this is an easy fault to spot and cure at the design stage? The lid should also be marked to show where the front should be located to pour. One position to keep coffee hot and rotate it to pour - simples! Final bit of advice - leave at least half an inch of space below the spout when adding the water - any less and you'll get some overflow when you put the plunger in. I still use it every day though. Be warned - 3 cups is misleading - it makes one 300 ml mug which is just what I needed.
