I needed a rug suitable to go under my office chair due to uneven floor boards. This is cheaper and larger than the fold out rugs specifically marketed for that purpose but as far as I could tell from the product photos was the same fabric so I took a punt and am really happy I did. The chair wheels cope with the rug as if it isn't really there, it doesn't ruck up at all and it ties my room together. I like the faded design and the muted colours and love spending time in here now, could not be happier

I am really pleased with this rug. It is more like a woven lightly padded mat than a rug. This is just what I was looking for! It looks great and the design is traditional. It fits well in my front room.

It lies on the floor as it should, extremely impressed with just how it does the job of a carpet, but you can pick it up and move it around. Why weren’t these things invented earlier? What an age we live in….

This rug is super soft and has quite a bit of cushion without a pad underneath! And I like that it has non-skid built in! Exactly what I was looking for

Update: I washed the rug anyway and it turned out fine so far. The company also wrote me to say it was the tag that was wrong, and it is in fact machine washable. They also informed me of a one year warranty if there are any issues. So knowing this and seeing the quick response from the company to address this misunderstanding, I'm changing my review to 5 starts.Loved the rug until, when I went to wash it in my machine, I discovered that the label says hand wash only. That is extremely disappointing, since that's the only reason we settled in this rug.

After a year of owning there was significant discoloration, we do not wear shoes in the house. So I put it in the washer per the label (as they say it's safe to do!), but that resulted in the rug tearing. At that it still didn't even seem to come out any cleaner.
