50X C4 A4 Size Box Large Letter Strong Cardboard Shipping Mailing Postal Pip, LGELETBOXC4005

These have changed since last ordering them. We have ordered hundreds over the years so are now used to putting them together. Unfortunately although I have ordered from here before, these are different. They are thinner cardboard, the lines to help you fold are virtually non existent. The folding clasp seems to be on the wrong place so now you must use tape to keep the box closed. Not happy this time.

Really good quality boxes at a fair price

*UPDATE* After writing my original review below, I have now used these boxes for a while, and have the hang of them! Firstly make sure they are the right way in before folding…the rougher, scored side is the inside. I then just get a 10p coin and run the edge of it down both the double score lines at the sides, which tend to be the most problematic. They then usually fold really well. Shouldn’t have to do it, but I’d rather pay less (these boxes are by far the least expensive I could find) and make the extra effort with the coin, rather than pay more! I will buy them again. Hope that helps those of you who are struggling with the fold lines, as I was!!PREVIOUS REVIEW:I use boxes like this to pack various small items of clothing I sell on eBay. These boxes were the cheapest I could find. They do the job, so no complaints on that score. However as you might expect for this low price, they are not the best quality cardboard -it’s quite soft - and are poorly scored on the fold lines, so at least half of them are a really fiddly challenge to assemble and don’t look great when done. Because of the poor fold lines, they also take much longer than they should to assemble. In all, fine for personal use, if you don’t send too many parcels, but I’d want something much better quality if I had a professional business with lots of packing to do!

Thank you!These C4/A4 boxes are great for shipping goods in a Royal Mail large letter format. It takes the worry out of measuring dimensions when shipping goods. The boxes are easy to assemble and are rigid enough for protecting your goods through the mail. I use packaging tape to seal the flap just in case the tabs that tuck into the sides come loose during shipping. Excellent product. Highly recommended seller!

The boxes are a bit fiddly to assemble but good that they come flat as easier to store. The are sturdy and look very professional. The people in the post office are used to them now, but at first we’re very surprised when I handed them a box and told them it was a large letter and not a small parcel. It’s saved me a fortune in postage!

This is awful, fold lines are almost non existent, some of the tabs are almost ripped out of box! only realised after 31 days, fit for the bin, fortunately only lost £11.99

I found these thinner and less strong than I hoped, compared with others I’ve had before. They also don’t have the thumb hole so aren’t the same as the pictures.
