Tad expensive, but good product

It’s very cute for a beta fish!!!

As other reviewers have written, the purpose advertised for this bowl is to house fish with a plant however the volume, which is not listed, is far too little to keep a fish happy and healthy... it isn't even a half gallon, probably about a litre and a half. Even for a Beta fish this is not a good environment, it's like keeping a dog in a small kennel 24/7.. fish need to be able to stretch out and swim around. If you're going to use it just as a vase with a plant, it is quite nice looking. I suppose you could have fairy shrimp in there, which are a lot like sea monkeys but for fresh water.

Should have done my research before I bought this but discovered post-purchase fish need at least 10L to be happy. So while the ad says it's suitable for Betta, goldfish or guppies, it's not.

I've had a beta for some time now and stumbled upon this and decided to give it a try. I figured it may be too small but upon receiving it, it does have a decent amount of room for 1 small fish. My buddy quite enjoys it, more than I anticipated. I will note that I don't think I would let your plants roots get too big. Anything added to the bowl just takes away from the fishes living space. But it's an excellent idea for propagating new trimmings.
