Easy to fit and nice looking

These shelves look nice when installed , which was simple to do. They are only intended for lightweight use so are more decorative than fundtional.

The rustic aesthetic is there, but the build quality doesn't match up. They don't feel as sturdy as I'd hoped, which is a concern when you're hanging things on your walls. The hollow design, while cheap i guess, seems to compromise their strength and durability. They look a bit thick too, they would have been sleeker a little slimmer

I recently added the PHOENANCEE Floating Shelves to my home, and they have become an integral part of my interior decor. These are really nice but I do have a little bit of a worry over quality control. I choose the "Rustic Black" pair of shelves, but noticed that the black colour was just a thin veneer which had chipped away. The shelves come well pack, so It must have happened at the factory, rather than in transit. Luckily the chip was on the wall side of the shelves where you can not see it. There were also a few little dents, which were made noticeable because of the black colour. Maybe I'm being picky, because you can't actually see them when they are fixed on the wall. Anyway, love the shelves - very smart.

Really easy to install, I think they look lovely too.

Fixings on back of the shelf are set in too far meaning screws must protrude out of the wall quite far. Then due to the soft wood the shelves are made from, the screw heads cut into the shelves and in turn the shelves tilt downwards. A great product if you are after a bit of firewood and if you want a wall of holes that you can enjoy filling after you realise the shelves are better of left in the box they came in!

I didn’t expect solid shelves or high quality wood, but they are rough to the touch and feel barely stronger than stuff card. I’ll need to lightly sand and varnish these. And I won’t be trusting them to hold valuable crockery.
