Great lesson involved along with illustrations .

I found this book to be excellent in teaching empathy to my students. The English rose is a group of friends that enjoy one another's company and have many enjoyable times together. They do not like one girl because she is so beautiful and appears to have a perfect life. These friends, learn the important lesson that everything is not always what they think they are.I love how Madonna includes the right amount of "cheekiness" in her fairy godmother character. It adds a layer of sarcasm to the story that makes it a hit with my teenage students.

The book came packaged nice. And they even included two extra books that my kids really appreciated ❤️ thank you so much

All the books that Madonna wrote for children in the 90's was always a favorite of mine to read to my children. Now that I have grandchild and my niece's and nephews have children I want to continue reading them to all new loves. I was thrilled to find this one.The book was delivered on ti.e and in beautiful condition.

this book was way too mature for my grdkids to relate to.. i’ll put it on a shelf till they’re 11 or 12

I ordered this book for my 6 year old daughter on the recommendation of another parent. We read it for the first time last night and she would not let me put the book down until we finished every single page. I suspect I'll be reading it again tonight. The story itself teaches good values and I think it's an excellent addition to any home library.

I remember this story from my childhood. Now I read it to my little girl. It teaches about kindness and not to judge or be jealous of others.

This is one of my favorite stories. Great way of teaching kids to be kind to others.
