Very easy to grab and use.
The media could not be loaded. I love this. very smart to have a silicone insert. It is so much easier to grab and clean than the flat chainmail I used to have before this. The silicone is flexible enough to cover every corner of the pan yet firm enough to not collapse when pressing on it. I don't use any salt or anything on this. Just hot water and scrub it for a short time and it's all clean. Then I wipe it off with paper towel and then use conditioner after. I have used it a few times already and it's still holding well like it came so This will last me a life time. I can also use the silicone for the thin scour pads to scrub my dishes.

Bait & Switch Not What The Description Says You’re Getting
This was not what your description was selling. There was no silicone insert but a cheap sponge. Classic bait & switch. Only reason I purchased was because I wanted the silicone insert.

Genius -absolutely love it!
I learned to cook on gas stove with cast iron when gas stoves didn’t have automatic igniters-you had to use a match. My mom hated gas and cast iron so most of my adult life I had electric and Teflon pans. But recently I got a huge deal on a used gas stove. I love it. I love it more using cast Iron. I wish I had saved grandmas pans, but we didn’t.I am teaching my husband about cast iron and it’s care. This scrubber is the best idea and I absolutely love it. When the pan has cooled down-i add salt to the pan and use this scrubber. It gets everything off. Add a little water to rinse after wiping out the grungy salt. Place back on the stove-Unless you need a little soapy water to get sticky grunge out. Place the pan on the stove to evaporate the water until it is gone. The. slather on a thin coat of oil and leave on burner for 20-30 mins to maintain that seasoning. This scrubber is the best! Almost no effort in keeping the pans clean. The silicone insert is genius. Better design that the flat chain scrubbers that require your fingers to manuver. Finger saver!I highly recommend this silicone insert chain scrubber for your cast iron pan cleaning needs. I want to get another for my vacation property so I can start a cast iron collect in that home too!!

Best thing for cast iron.
Father-in-law sold me on this. Easily the best thing to clean cast iron! Great for semi seasoned or new cast iron, or just really gunked up cast iron after cooking. Not sure what else to say besides this made cleaning a lot easier. Strongly would recommend especially if you cook with cast iron a lot.

It does what it says perfectly
Exactly what it looks like. I always have used the bigger pieces of chain mail cloth to scrub, I got this for my grandma and she enjoys the fact that you can use it as a durable sponge for your durable pans. You can slip your fingers through the chain mail where it allows you to take the silicone in and out. You then can comfortably maneuver it around groves of pan rather than feel you're scrubbing with a pile of chainmail. Cleans up excellent and there's no need to ever pull it out from the chain mail. We use brushes with copper or aluminum woven wire at the restaurant I worked at. This works nearly as well but doesn't mess up my carbon steel woks or cast iron lodge pan seasoningI paid full price. Ten bucks or whatever and my review is honest.

Lightweight, easy to clean with for cast iron.
Toss a good amount table salt and a little warm water on your cast iron and get to scrubbing. This sponge takes off everything, and I just toss the sponge and chain in the dishwasher top rack when done. This will dull the chain but it's stainless steel so it should be fine to clean with.It grabs stuck on gunk pretty well from a seasoned cast iron pan. I have used it on my stainless pans but I don't think it's the right tool for that job. It didn't scratch the finish on them, at least, but the way foods burn on stainless steel is a little different. It was easier just using a metal scrubber on those.

Chainmail scrubber for cast iron pans is a winner
I saw this in a video and had to try it. Chainmail sounds like it would scratch the pans, but actually it cleans them well without scratching. The chainmail is rounded, so it can scrub without scratching. I wash my pans, scrub them with the chainmail, then hand dry them and then put them on the stove. I use medium low heat to dry the pan completely and then apply some BuzzyWaxx while the pan is still warm. Turn the burner off and let the pan cool on the stove.I haven't seen any signs of it scratching the pan and it does a good job of scrubbing it.

Great for cleaning cast iron pans!
I have 2 cast iron pans that I use very regularly and was looking for a better option than the steel scrub I had at home. I got this and it works significantly better than anything else I've used. It requires little effort to scrub the pan clean and it removes all the stains and dirt easily. I do a quick final rinse and it is clean. I've thrown it into the dishwasher and had no problems cleaning it that way. I hang the ring of the scrub off the faucet handle. Very sturdy. Seems a little more expensive for a pan sponge, but it is completely worth it. Highly recommended.

Grossly Overpriced Excellent Product
Even though this works well and is a quality well-made product, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because for what it is, it's grossly overpriced in my opinion. If it was more reasonably priced, this would be a 5+ star product because it works and if you take care of it, it will last a very long time.
