Excellent Book on India's Energy Security
An outstanding book on India's Energy Security and the geopolitics of oil. The author effortlessly takes the reader through all the fundamental ideas that are related with the subject, in a most interesting manner. There are many little known facts and anecdotes that make the book impossible to put down. The recommendations by the author are though provoking, pertinent and need to be taken cognisance of by policy makers. A must read for those interested in energy and especially those dealing with policy formulation. Notwithstanding, I would recommend the book for any one who wants to know more about the geopolitics of oil, something that we all need to learn more about, given its importance in our day to day lives

I liked how the author analysed the future of electric vehicles. This book gives 360 degree view of global energy market and its implications on India. The book could also help policymakers to frame the Indian energy policy. It is a book that one needs to read for understanding the energy market, including fossil fuels and green alternatives. Good overview but contains some outdated know-how
Authors view of biofuels as solely coming from 1G sources is shocking, considering advances made in using 2G feedstock which don't compete with food.
