great I expensive alternative to tub removal. if you want a easy walk thru into a tub, this is much easier than tub removal and installing a shower pan

My wife had knee surgery and was having a hard time stepping over the tub wall. She loves this step through and it was less expensive than replacing the tub with a shower. I didn't know if it would work, since our tub wall is rounded and it slants outward slightly. It actually worked perfectly, using cardboard templates for cutting. The adjustable plastic blocks that came with it wouldn't work, because of the curve and the slope outward, but I was able to stack pressure treated 2X4's and a piece of plywood to get the perfect height to support the step. It was quit a project installing it and took me about 5 hours, but it came out great! They also give you information on finding a professional installer in your area, if you aren't able to do it yourself. The installation videos are very handy and informative. We have had it for several months now, with no issues.

I have MS. I was having more and more difficulty getting into and out of the shower. Since I am 70 years old and living on Social Security I didn't feel I could afford a remodel of my current tub. I am certain it would have cost me well over $1,000. My brother-in-law installed this insert for me. It took him a few hours. The YouTube video was extremely helpful to him. He had absolutely no problem installing it. It now looks like the tub was always this way. I am not handy with things like this and would not have attempted it. I absolutely love it. The ease of getting in and out of the shower is such a relief to me. I feel safe once again. I have not one complaint - ok maybe on small one. I had to wait 48 hours after it was installed to use it. I wanted to jump in immediately. BTW it said I was going to have to wait three weeks for delivery. It took four days. I am one very satisfied customer.

Wanted to have easy access to my bath tub. This definitely filled the bill. My son installed it with little problems. Love it. We did not want to spent $10,000 plus remodel.

Installation took much longer than anticipated and was more complicated than anticipated. The final result came out good, but this is not a project for someone not experienced with unforeseen construction complications and customizing things. This is a product that requires the ability to analyze and identify if a typical way of installing this will work for your application parameters. I used to own and operate a remodeling company, and I would recommend most people to hire a trusted handyman or remodeler to install it. Other than that, this is a great product. My 68 y/o father has mobility issues and had trouble getting in and out of the tub. They could not afford a new ADA/handicap friendly shower remodel. This was a great affordable alternative that made it much easier for him to get in and out by himself.

Best investment I ever made!! 🤎 No more worrying about falling out of the tub. Easy to install, very sturdy, looks awesome in my bathroom but most important it gives me peace of mind.

This definitely met our expectations. We bought it for my mother who has walking disability. My husband was able to assemble it without any issues. It took about 3 hours.

My mother-in-law fell trying to get into her tub over a year ago. She just can’t raise her leg that high anymore. She’s in VA and we’re in CA so it took a bit to get her on the schedule. I purchase the product, shipped it to her house, and checked my tools in luggage on the plane (jigsaw, drill, caulking gun, tape, gloves vinyl & leather). The installation videos really helped. The only issue I ran into was the spacers for the step with 2x4 installed was too short. Had to get 4x4 from lumberyard instead. Cutting the pattern onto the step took lots and lots of measuring. The tub front and top had profiles that were hard to line up from side to side. And the cutting was super messy. Should have done that outdoors or in a garage. And I never heard of “flamming” the cut edge, so another trip to Lowes for propane torch. I spent more time heating the edge than on video to make sure it softened & smoothed out the cut surface. The caulking step was an absolute bear, but with silicone I expected that. Just used lots of paper towels to remove excess material. Had to buy a longer shower curtain (76”) which is hard to find (think Amazon!). Overall took me about 6 hours with trips to Lowes and lumberyard-and I’m very handy (your results may vary). At the end of day, product was relatively easy, looks great, and should solve Mom’s access issue.

This Bath Tub Accessibility Kit works just great. My husband had to cut it out a little different as our tub was a little bigger in one place and smaller in the other end, he cut it out to fit . The step in was a little to high for me so he built a three inch step for me so its much easier for me to get in. He had to wear safety glasses and a mask. He had a fan to help blow the dust out the window. He thought that the biggest job was the clean up afterwards. We are very happy with the step in shower. Love it So sorry i cant take a picture of it , but it works great.

It wasn't a job that took a few minutes. It took the day, but it was well worth it. Follow the instructions, a jigsaw with metal blades and everything went together. I would recommend this Canadian Made product to anyone!

Easy to install, I made sure I had the recommended drill bit and jigsaw blade. It is a strenuous job cutting into the tub, and make sure your drill and saw are charged up. My cordless drills weren't up to the job. I didn't even try the messy glue, the plastic just snapped in very tight. I just applied some silicon along the inside and top seam

4th one I have installed for friends and family. They fit well. Takes about 4 hours to install. No problems. I have modified my install process and works better.

Installed this on my mother's tub and worked perfectly. She loves it. I watched a video link the seller provided with the order on how to do it. No issues.
